Chapter 136: Epilogue

It has been a month since the shooting incident with Bradley Lincoln. How everyone survived that day was a miracle. A miracle that got Asher’s men arriving on time and saving them both before they were ridden with silver bullet from his gun.

For a moment, Elizabeth thought they were really going to die as she saw her life flashed before her very eyes but after all the shot were fired out and she was still safely wrapped in Asher’s embrace, she knew she was still breathing and alive so she cried.

She cried so hard, firstly because the man she thought was her father even though he had showed her too many times that he wasn’t had killed her mother and was going to kill her too. Nothing could be more messed up than that.

As she stood beside his unconscious body that night and coughing out b***d, she saw no remorse in the eyes of the dying man still. Even his last words still echo in her head.

“I will never forgive…” he couldn’t complete his statement as he died on the spot and choking on his own b***d.

“Hey, you still thinking about that man?” A calm gentle voice had startled her and she turned to look back at Asher, his hair all messed up as he had just come out of the shower and dripping wet.

“You look good, smell like my favorite Alpha” Beth replied with a smile and his eyes narrowed.

“But I’m your favorite Alpha, Elizabeth”

“Exactly. You are my one and only and I love you”

Asher let out a wide grin as he reached for her, “Come here” He said and pulled her in before claiming her already parted lips in a passionate k**s and causing her to sigh in bliss.

°° A week later °°

Another mating ceremony was held for Asher and Beth to be officially married.

This time, Asher didn’t leave her side so as not to make history repeat itself even though the stumbling block has been removed. He still couldn’t risk it. He has developed this sudden phobia of being by her side always. He was the Alpha and he can do whatever he wanted even if he wanted to became her shadow.

The ceremony went well and their marriage was officiated and Beth was declared ‘Queen Luna’ as tradition demanded. She felt as if she was the happiest lady on planet earth. Her dream of finally getting married to the man she loved and having her own people came true.

Turns out Bradley wasn’t bluffing and Alex was really her half brother. After she told him everything, Alex showed her a picture she found in his father’s document and it was that of Elizabeth when she was just seven.

Apparently, they were family after all.

That night after they were declared as couples, and their guest returned to their various houses, Asher carried her back to the room they shared in arm before placing her gently across the sofa.

Elizabeth couldn’t stop smiling. Who could have thought the monster she hated would turn out to be the love of her life and most gentle man in the world.

Everything almost seem surreal as Asher brought out a guitar and began to sing to her. Truly he was an artist. Even though his voice could actually wake a dead person, the love he put right into it pretty much made up for it.

“Thanks for being in my life,” Asher said and Beth smiled and kissed his lips

“I am glad we are finally together. Despite all the obstacles, we overcame and ended up together. We were really meant to be,” Beth said and Asher began stroking her hair sweetly and slowly.

“I feel like a complete man now.”

“Yeah, you would soon be a father of two kids.” Beth announced and Asher’s eyes widened as he looked up at her grinning face.

“Don’t tell me you’re pregnant?” Asher asked as his heart raced.

“I am already three weeks gone, it would be a girl this time.” Beth said as she rubbed her flat tummy.

“F**k! I knew it. I f*****g knew I heard another heart beating inside of you” Asher screamed in joy as he pulled her in to seat on his laps, straddling him.

“You really don’t have any idea how happy you have made me. I could die right now and have no regret” Asher said and kissed her passionately.

“I keep falling for you over and over again. I love you insanely and I wouldn’t be able to live without you so instead of dying. Stay with me, with us and everyone and make this day last forever”

“ I promise to be the best husband to you and the best father to our kids. I promise to cherish you and love our kids and love you forever.”

“Forever and Always”.
