334. Tyson - Revelations XII

Yan rushes to Maddox, grabs him by the collar of his t-shirt, and yanks him up. The wound I caused is profound, blood soaking his pants. Red drops fall on the wooden floor. Reyes looks transfixed at them. No matter how many lives he takes,

he is always thirsty for more. It's like dead runs through his veins.

Henry grabs Maddox's hand, probably afraid that Yan will kill him on the spot. After everything Maddox told us, there's no fucking way he'll walk alive from here. If Yan kills him right now, he'll only spoil the fun for everyone else. At least there are still Cole and Henry left.

Maddox grunts in pain while Yan sneers in his face, "Where is she buried?" He doesn't wait for a reply and turns his attention to me. "Your woman, she has to bring back my love!"

My demon and I growl at the same time, "Olivia doesn't have to do shit!"

Despite all the horrors Yan went through at the hands of Azael, he has no right to demand anything from Olivia. He has no idea what horrors she went through. How she was used by the Dukes for their own pleasure. No one will ever do that to her ever again.

"But she can resurrect the dead!" Yan yells. His voice carries a lot of pain as he says, "**713**...Indy was everything to me. She kept me sane and...." He doesn't finish his thought. Instead, he says, "I'll help you get revenge. Your woman's family? I'll hunt them down like rabbits and take them one by one or all at once. Indy is my everything."

Alekos and Reyes, who haven't been present from the beginning, look confused.

Rin frowns. "What about **666**? I thought your angel was obsessed with her."

"You're a Duke?" several of us ask at the same time. Wasp, who is still on the line, asks, "You're the one who kidnapped her from the hospital?"

It makes no sense for him to be a Duke because the barrier around the Blood Lodge, erected by the demons from the Catacombs, would prevent him from setting foot inside. Maybe his angel is a chameleon, like Maddox's demon, and he can trick the barrier. After all, he never mentioned what was done to him in the facility.

Yan shoves Maddox into the couch. "I'm neither a Lord nor a Duke. I'm...different. Azael made me a vessel for a demon and an angel." To Wasp, he says, "I didn't kidnap her. Only took her to a safe place. My angel is...curious about her. She is safe." Wasp snorts angrily.

How is that even possible? I've never met someone like Yan before. Maybe there are more, but Olivia nor Mose revealed what happened to those from the facility. When Rueben got there, the place was engulfed in flames. Nothing useful remained once the fire died out. There was no trace of Azael, but burned bodies have been found. Their identities are yet to be confirmed.

Henry takes off his polo and puts it on top of Maddox's wound, who winces. His adrenaline is probably wearing off.

Wasp says, "Indy was his demon's mate. It seems that his angel prefers **666**, who happens to be one of my hellstars. It took me a long time to get her out, only to have an asshole take her and lock her up again." Yan huffs in annoyance. Reyes narrows his eyes. "Why do I have a feeling that **666** has something to do with Angel? Is she FireFly?" When Wasp nor Yan don't reply, he says, "Stefan, I never asked, but wasn't your ex-slut-fiancee an experiment? Angel risked her life to save Emily from the facility." Reyes' words make me pause for a bit because he doesn't seem to like Stefan that much. I also remember Stefan talking about his long-term girlfriend and how he was going to marry her. She was killed by Carlos before the wedding, but from the looks of it, she's still alive. Reyes keeps talking, not giving Stefan a chance to answer. "She must have since she's been in the facility for...." His eyes narrow. "Five years?"

It's Wasp who says, "Fire Fly was in the hands of Azael for one year. Release her, and I might consider convincing Olivia to resurrect Indy."

I don't get to say anything as Rueben punches the wall and shouts, "No!" before looking across the room. "If any of you says a word about what Olivia can do, it will be the last thing they will do. Can you imagine how many will rush to find her and demand she bring back the dead?" He runs his fingers through his hair. "She won't have a fucking life. And who can tell what that will do to her." Shaking his head, he adds, "If she wants to use her powers, it's on her, not because someone forces her."
