Chapter 11

"Liam, don't be so pathetic."

"Even if they're married, coming to the hospital at this time, what good could it be?"

"Either their marriage certificate is fake, or there's something wrong with their bodies."

"Or, she just found a man to accompany her for an abortion."

Aria, who spoke these vicious words, actually seemed somewhat pleased as she said them.

It seemed that being able to verbally attack others gave her great pleasure.

Even if these were just her delusions, not the truth of the matter.

If I had heard her say these things in my previous life, I definitely would have been overwhelmed.

But now, hearing them didn't affect me at all.

Liam's gaze fixed on me intently, "Olivia, if you're not here for an abortion, then why are you at the hospital?"

I took the opportunity to hug Ryan's waist.

"We're here for a prenatal check-up for the fruit of our love. Is that not allowed?"

Liam's face turned pale.

Aria, however, burst into laughter upon hearing this, "Did you hear that, Liam? You've only been apart for two months, and she's already pregnant!" Ryan called out, "Security--"

Although Ryan wasn't wearing his white doctor's uniform today, The security guards still recognized him.

"This couple is suspected of being human traffickers. Please call the police and take them to the station for investigation."

Four or five security guards started to push them out.

Aria's face changed dramatically, "How dare you falsely accuse us!"

After they were completely driven out, this farce finally came to an end.

Many doctors and nurses gathered around, their faces showing a hint of joyful gossip.

"Mr. Everett, we really didn't expect you to move so fast!"

"No wonder you refused when we tried to set you up. Your wife is so beautiful."

"Indeed, Mr. Everett moved really fast, you even have a child on the way, haha."

After my examination, the nurse, worried I might be scared, specially brought me some snacks. "Madam, you're so amazing."

"How did you manage to catch Mr. Everett?"

The young nurse's eyes were shining, looking at me with admiration.

I smiled and thought back, "I didn't really pursue him, he just kind of stuck to me on his own."

Whether in my previous life or this one, I never needed to chase Ryan.

He was like a steady, reliable guardian who gave people a sense of security.

Always quietly standing behind me, unnoticed.
