Chapter 939

After getting into the Rolls Loyce, the car drove out of the parking lot and onto the road.

“Are you bleeding?” Anne asked, worried as she looked at the blood on Anthony's back.

“It's not my blood,” Anthony said, stretching the back of his hand without feeling any pain.

Anne found a towel in the compartment next to him and wiped the blood off the back of his hand. After cleaning it, she realized that there was no wound. She looked up at him and saw that although Tommy had been badly beaten, Anthony was not hurt at all.

There were only bruises on his cheeks and the corners of his mouth.

“Does it hurt?” Anne gently touched his cheek with her fingers and asked.

Anthony looked at her with his dark eyes. “Do you have anything to ask me?”

Anne met his dark eyes, which seemed bottomless as if they could suck her whole body in. She said innocently, Didn't you say you wanted me to believe you?”

Anthony's dark eyes trembled slightly, and his expression turned darker. “Yes, you just need to trust me. Remember, I'm the only one who won't hurt you,” he said.

“If 1 find out that you're lying to me, I won't spare you,” Anne said, biting her lip.

“Okay,” Anthony said, his eyes sinking

Tommy returned to his villa and sat on the sofa, thinking about how to kill Anthony. He had not planned for Anne to lose her memory.

“What's wrong with you?” Lilian asked as soon as she entered and saw the injuries on Tommy's face. She rushed up to touch his face, but Tommy pushed her away impatiently. “I'm okay!” he said.

Lilian did not expect such a big reaction, and the back of her hand hurt from being slapped.

She knew that she should not have reached out to touch him, but her heart was still chilled. She stood aside and asked, “What's wrong? Do you need help?”

Tommy calmed down a bit and said, “You have to lie low for a while. Anthony is following you.”

“Is he keeping tabs on me? Don't worry, I won't be caught by him that easily,” Lilian said.

Tommy squinted his eyes. “Did you do something privately that I don’t know about?” he asked.

"I did everything you ordered, nothing else,” Lilian said. She had done it all for Tommy's sake.

“The wound on your face was caused by Anthony?” she asked.

Tommy's face was gloomy, and instead of answering her directly, he asked, “Anne lost her memory. Did you know that?”

“1 did,” Lilian said.

"Yet you didn’t tell me about it?” Tommy said, suppressing his anger.

Lilian said, “Even if I told you, some things can’t be changed. You are completely messed up because of Anne now. In the past, you wouldn't go head-to-head with Anthony like this.”

"When did you start caring about my style of doing things?” Tommy asked, looking at her sharply. “If you have any opinion on me, just leave Luton.”

Lilian became anxious. “Tommy, you know that I swore I would always follow you and help you. In fact, you don't have to do it yourself. There is someone who can't hold back their temper more than you,” she said.

Tommy frowned. “Bianca...”

“Yes,” Lilian said.

"She knows about Anne and Anthony obtaining the marriage certificate?” Tommy asked.

“She does. Never underestimate a woman's jealousy. Now that Anne has lost her memory, it's easier to take advantage of it,” Lilian said.

Tommy was deep in thought for a while and then asked, “ Is Anne’s memory loss temporary or permanent?”

“It's hard to say,” Lilian said

"Don’t come back here if you have nothing to do,” Tommy said, getting up and turning to go upstairs. However, he turned back around. “How many times have you been in contact with Bianca?” he asked.
