Chapter 923

What was Bianca?

She also wanted to ask that question.

She was originally the only woman that Anthony cared about. Why was it that everything that belonged to her was transferred to Anne?

She could not figure out what seduction technique Anne had used on Anthony to make him so infatuated with her!

Dorothy asked Mia, “What else? Tell us everything.

“There's another thing—Ms. Vallois seemed to have lost her memory,” said Mia.

"What? She lost her memory? What melodrama is she putting on?" asked Bianca

Not only was Anne involved in a car accident, but she even had so many gimmicks

“It's true. Ms. Vallois doesn't remember anything anymore,” said Mia.

"Since she doesn't remember anything anymore, why did Anthony want her to think that she is Mrs. Marwood?" asked Dorothy.

“We're not clear about this. However, I realized Mr.Marwood is especially good to Ms. Vallois. He would first think about Ms. Vallois for all the daily necessities in the Royal Mansion. Also, ever since Ms. Vallois returned to the Royal Mansion, Mr. Marwood had never gone to the company and had been keeping her accompanied at

home. They went out today, but it was also Mr. Marwood taking Ms. Vallois out.” Mia was making the call in secret while hiding in the servants’ quarters. “I heard from the triplets that they were out on a date...”

Bianca could not listen any further. She took the phone over and directly hung up the call. Otherwise, she would go insane if she continued listening. to her!

While Dorothy saw her daughter in pain, she felt sorry for her but she also had no solutions. "Ahhh!" Bianca smashed the fruit platter on the coffee table. “Why must she fight with me? SI*t!” "What other reason could there be? She is as sl*tty as her mother!” Dorothy truly could not accept defeat.

She had been suffering losses in her life because of Sarah.

Sarah's life was short, and Dorothy thought she could feel better after Sarah died.

Anne was the only one left, so Dorothy thought that there was no way both Bianca and her could not defeat Anne.

She did not expect that after a car accident, Anne would directly become Mrs. Marwood!

The position as Mrs. Marwood had always been what Bianca wanted, so much so that she returned from abroad for Anthony. In the end, what did she get?

Humiliation!

Dorothy held Bianca's hand, giving her courage. “Don’t be dejected. We still have a chance.”

“Even if Anne is Mrs. Marwood now, could she always be in that position without being challenged? Besides, didn't Mia say that Anne had lost her memory and doesn’t remember anything anymore? That means she’s easily fooled!" As expected of an experienced woman, Dorothy immediately realized the key to resolving their problem.

“No, I don't believe Anthony would marry Anne.” After Bianca was calmed, she denied this fact. “Letting her think that she is Mrs. Marwood doesn’t mean they've already gotten a marriage certificate together. Didn't you hear what Mia said? They were already asked to treat Anne as Mrs. Marwood before she was discharged from the hospital. Also, Anne had never gone out since she returned to the Royal Mansion. She had just gone out today. When would they have gotten their marriage certificate? I think he is deliberately fooling Anne because she has lost her memory. Otherwise, there was no telling what extraordinary thing would a person with memory loss do. Everything that Anthony did was just for the sake of the children.”

It all seemed to make a lot of sense after she analyzed the situation.

“That means we still have a chance. Anne has lost her memory. She doesn't know anything at all. As long as we spice things up, could she still be calm?” Dorothy laughed like a wicked woman as she had an idea.

After she took a shower at night, Anne sat by the end of the bed while Anthony helped her apply medication to the wound on her head.

“I want to take a look at it,” Anne requested when Antony’ was preparing to put the gauze on the wound.

“There's nothing to look at.”

Anne got up and ran toward the bathroom.

Immediately after, Anthony heard Anne let out a scream.

He hurried to the bathroom.

Anne was in disbelief as she looked at that ugly scar on her head in the mirror.

A patch of her hair was shaved and her scalp was exposed. There was an ugly scar on her scalp and it had been stitched up.

Was that still a human's head?

"Why...is it like that? It's too ugly, isn't it?” Anne could not accept it.

Anthony held back his smile. “It will be fine after your hair grows out.”

“Will my hair still grow?” Anne was worried.

“It will.” Anthony covered the scar with the gauze in his hand and stuck it properly.
