Chapter 776

“It's okay. Dad never mentioned the Lloyds anyway. We will just ignore them. It's just business so let's not overthink this,” Anne said.

After leaving the hospital, Anne went to the Royal Mansion, and the triplets immediately threw themselves into her arms.

"Ah... Hang on! Hang on...” Anne gritted her teeth at the soreness at her back.

The triplets simply thought that Anne was playing with them and hurriedly crawled up her body. “Mama, we heard that you went on a business trip again?”

“Is it hard to look after Grandpa's company?”

“I want to help, Mama, so you won't be tired!"

Anne stared at their faces and felt all the exhaustion that accumulated within her fading.

She cupped their cheeks and planted a kiss on each of their chubby cheeks. “Alright. Mama will retire when you grow up. I'll stay home to laze away while you three go out to earn money.” “Yeah! We will work hard!"

Anne grinned from ear to ear. It was a good thing to raise them to be responsible. Besides, she did not need much.

The four heard engine noises, and the triplets shouted, “Papa is back!”

They immediately dragged Anne to the door to welcome Anthony home.

The Rolls Loyce stopped, and Anthony got out, noticing Anne and the three children standing on the stairs from afar. He narrowed his eyes and, for a moment, felt as though he was merely a man returning home to his gentle wife and wonderful children.

“Papal” Charlie thought that Anthony did not see them and waved his arms.

Chloe jumped up and down cheerfully.

Anne watched as Anthony walked toward them, and the Rolls Loyce did not move toward the garage, which meant that Anthony might be heading out again.

She instantly remembered what Anthony had said in the apartment about going back at night. Anthony walked up the stairs, and Chloe leaped into his arms, giggling.

He continued to approach Anne with Chloe in his arms while staring at her with his dark, brooding eyes.

Anne looked away as she was overwhelmed by a strange feeling.

“Papa, Mama just came home, too! She arrived one minute earlier than you!” Chloe said, raising a finger.

“Is that so?” Anthony glanced at Anne. “What a coincidence.”

“A coincidence!” Charlie grabbed onto the fabric on Anthony's trousers and said.

"Are you going out again later, Papa?” Chris asked.

Anthony looked at Chris, who was holding Anne's hand. “Why do you ask?”

“Because your car is parked outside. You usually have it back inside the garage,” Chris said.

“Yeah! Papa will always park the car outside when you are going out!” Charlie agreed.

Chloe nodded. “Mmhm!”

Anne had not expected her children to be so observant and once again reminded herself that she must do everything to prevent such brilliant children from having regrets in their lives.

“Your mom and I are going out after dinner,” Anthony said.

"Oh..." Chloe was disappointed. “Are you going on a date without us again?”

Anne looked uncomfortable. “We are going nowhere.”

Anthony gave her a pointed look and asked Chloe, “Should we go on a date?”

Chloe thought about it and said, “You should!”

Anne instantly thought to herself, “Why did you bother looking so disappointed just now if you are going to agree? Was that just an act?!"
