We landed and I’m still a blubbering mess. Landon and Leo sent me back with Alex, Mark and only 2 others. Gio and everyone else stayed with them. Alex tried to help me down the stairs. I think he was scared I was going to fall. I was such a mess.

They all left me alone in the bedroom with only the flight attending coming to check on me to see if I wanted any food or water.

Ma and Tom were there waiting for me. Ma engulfed me in her bone crushing hug “Oh my daughter. Dey will be fine. Come, you need food and a good drink.”

I was surprised when even Tom then gave me a hug. “Try not to worry about them.”

They guided me to the car and Ma sat with me in the back seat. It took her all of 2 seconds after we settled to suddenly grab my hand and squeal “You’re engaged! Finally!” she examined the ring “It is perfect! Oh, we have to start organising da wedding. Dat will keep us busy.”

“I want to wait until they are back and safe before I do anything.” Hopefully, that will keep her at bay for a while and, honestly, I couldn’t think of anything worse right now. I just want to go and drown in my bath with 50 bottles of baileys.

“Oh course. Now we dought it best you stay wit us. I will not take no for an answer my daughter. Let me look after you.”

I really didn’t want to, but at the same time I didn’t know how I would go sitting in our house by myself, freaking out, so I just nodded.

Ma rambled on about how she had started everything with the Russo’s and would continue on until I was ready. I said I would actually like to start tomorrow after a good night’s sleep. Hopefully, that will help get my mind off things.

Gi and Louie were waiting back at the house and both engulfed me with massive hugs before Gi led me to the same spare room as last time. The bath had already been run and had a small table with baileys and an antipasto assortment ready for me.

I spent the next sad and sorrowful week putting my head down and bum up working. Landon and Leo would constantly call and text to check up on me and tell me how much they loved me. It helped, but I still knew they were in a lot of danger and didn’t like it.

Everyone tried their best to cheer me up and tried my best to act like I was fine, but I wasn’t even fooling myself, let alone anyone else.

As the second week was coming to an end, I couldn’t even really think straight. What the hell had happened to me? I used to be a strong, independent woman and here I was losing myself.

I finally slapped myself, told myself to get a grip and decided it was time to take Maree and Angela up on their offer and ship myself off to northern Italy to go over everything they do some much needed sightseeing!

We were setting up distribution centres and soup-type kitchens in Sicily and Southern Italy, to start with, that match what they have up north. I had seen photos and floor plans but it was good to actually see it in person.

I tried not to be annoyed about the number of guards I had to take and the talk I got from Tom about being careful at all times but anything to get away.

From my personal pep talk and the fact that I was out of the compound, I felt a lot better. I still missed my men like crazy, but that was to be expected or I shouldn’t have this ring on my finger. Yes, the massive rocks on my finger that blind you from the sun and get everyone’s attention.

I had even been called Mrs Rinaldi already by a few people here and there. I didn’t correct them and just smiled. One of the times was when I was with Gi, Alexis and the girls. Gi had brought the gang up for the weekend to check on me and she knew Alexis would not let me mope still.

“Yes Mrs Rinaldi. What would you like?” Alexis smiled at me, batting her eyelids, enjoying the moment. Gi and the others sat there with massive smiles on their faces and I just knew that Gi was going to tell Landon and Leo about this as well.

All I could do was roll my eyes and answer the waitress. How the hell did they know who I was… wait! Those silly Italian social pages! Of course!

It had been another big day and I was starting to miss home. I have been up with her for 10 days now, so probably time to head home.

I started a bath even though the Suite had a full-time chef/maid/cleaner/amazing woman that was my favourite person in the world right now, as she handed me my bottle of baileys and a glass of ice, I still like to do things for myself. Shock horror!

I thanked her for it and told her to go home and rest and not to worry about breakfast as I would eat on my way to the factory.

I had rented 2 lovely suites in a hotel close to the beach, 1 for me and 1 for the guards, as I didn’t want to intrude in the Russo hospitality even though Maree told me to stop being dramatic and stay with them. I just couldn’t do that, especially since I didn’t know if I was going to keep my big girl panties up or start sobbing about missing my men again.

It had been a long few weeks. I relaxed in the bath and thought about organising a flight back in 2 days. I would let Ma know after my bath.

I sat back and enjoyed the quiet and, my baileys.

I heard the door open and peeked confused as to why she was back when I saw my 2 Adonis’s instead.

I sprinted so fast out of that bath and threw my wet soapsuds covered body at the closest one to me, which was Landon, of course. He caught me laughing, wrapping his arms around me as Leo walked around and engulfed me from behind. I was in the best sandwich ever!

All my emotions caught up with me and I was a blubbering mess within milliseconds, holding onto them for dear life.

“Are you both OK?” I quickly pushed them back and started to scan them both and ran my hands over them both like a mad woman. They both laughed at me and let me, knowing I needed to do this.

Finally, I stopped almost panting and looking into their eyes.

“Breathe Amore. We are alright.” He held my face in his hands as the sobs started again.

“Better than alright now” Leo kissed my neck and g*****d as he let his hands start wandering over my naked body. “Stop crying my love, we are here now.” He couldn’t help but start to grind into the back of me.

That had me laughing. Of course, he couldn’t help himself.

Landon wiped my tears away with his thumbs as he smiled at me. His eyes were full of longing and love.

I snuggled in the middle with my back to Leo and my front facing Landon. Leo instinctively turned and spooned me, putting his arm around me making me giggle.

Landon stroked my face. “f**k I’ve missed you.”

“Nope, missed you more.” I poked my tongue out at him.

He picked up my hand and examined my engagement ring again. “It’s still perfect. You don’t know how happy you have made me, us.”

“Well, you had better prove it by not leaving me again. I turned into a blubbering, hopeless mess. I was horrified at myself.”

He chuckled “We will try not to.”

“So what happened?”

“I will tell you in the morning. I promise. Right now I just want to tell the most beautiful woman in the world I love her.” He caressed my cheek again.

“Well, you did that. Now what happened?” he laughed at me and kissed me to shut me up. I wasn’t going to complain about that.

I woke up to Leo between my legs sucking my clit as he entered 2 fingers into me, he must have slept well. God I missed this!

I felt movement beside me as Landon tilted my head to look at him. “Tell me to stop if you don’t like it.” And then kissed me, making me forget he asked me anything. Oh god my men!

He pulled back smiling before Leo took, over my lips quickly before pulling one of my legs up and over his shoulder.

Leo slowed down and searched my face as well before looking at Landon.

Gave had been watching Landon and Leo for a while through Francesco, but that came crashing down when Francesco was killed. Nico ended up really spilling his guts and admitted Gabe was even going to use Francesco to also make a play for Italy. They had been investigating all the claims to see if they could be proven, since Gage was now dead.

They had been trying to pretend Gabe was still alive and not killed just before they flew me back to see what else they could uncover. He had set up quite a bit of a network but most were more than happy to rat him out and say they thought he was working under orders from Ben.

All in all, Ben had his city back, Maxine was always safe, which I knew, as I had been keeping in regular contact with her as well, most traitors had been tracked down and my men were back with me.
