Athena walked briskly toward the children.

Byron followed along with a smile.

As Athena caught Mia, she heard Byron shouting from behind, "Honey, I love you!"

Athena was speechless.

"Why?" Mia raised her chin slightly. "When I fall in love with someone, I'll tell him I love him loudly like Daddy!"

The boy, Derek Barone, was chubby with small eyes and looked so naive.

"Not at all. She's such a sweetheart. She shared the candies we gave her with the other children," another woman said.

Then, the group set off toward the valley with the most fireflies.

It was still too early for the fireflies to be in full bloom.

There weren't many fireflies in the valley.

But it didn't dampen the children's spirits in the slightest.

While the children played, the adults sat together and chatted.

These parents were educated and didn't just talk about their children's trivial matters.

After introducing themselves and their professions, they discussed their respective occupations.

She didn't say much, but she always had an answer when asked a question.
