Chapter 916 Kiss

"Are you going to continue the meeting this afternoon?" Athena asked Byron.

"En." Byron nodded. "Work has accumulated in the early stage, and it may take three or four days. What about you?"

"I'll be busy for a while starting tomorrow," Athena replied.

In fact, there were many times like this before.

There were servants at home all day long. Rose, Evie, Logan, and George would take turns going home when they were busy.

So, when Athena said this, she didn't think of anything else.

But...

"Well, you can work at ease, and I will bring Aiden and Mia to the company," Byron said.

Athena was slightly taken aback.

"I didn't mean that..." She subconsciously explained.

"Huh?" Byron looked up at her in confusion.

Athena looked at him and was stunned for a moment. "I mean... don't let yourself be pressured. I asked you to take care of the children before because you didn't have a good relationship with Aiden and Mia during that time. I hope you can get along more."

"Pressured?" Byron became slightly more serious. "I don't think it's forced. I like staying with them."

Athena and Byron looked at each other for a moment.

After realizing that Byron was serious, she turned her gaze away and nodded. "That's good. I'll ask Aiden and Mia if they would like to come to the company with you."

"Definitely willing." Byron was confident.

Mia restarted for a while.

Finally, she woke up completely.

Athena saw that the time was almost up.

Putting Mia, who was in her arms, directly into Byron's hand. "Mia, you and Dad go to the restaurant first, and I pick up Aiden and Logan, OK?"

Mia was a little awkward but still nodded. "OK!"

Athena kissed Mia with a smile and went to pick Aiden up.

After she left, the two were inexplicably embarrassed.

"I can walk by myself." Mia shook his legs.

Byron put her down, and before he spoke, Mia took his hand naturally. "Is the restaurant far away? Can we walk there?"

"It's just the opposite." Byron replied gently, "That restaurant also has delicious steak. I remember that Mia likes steak, right?"

When Mia heard steak, her saliva started to flow uncontrollably.

She swallowed, facing her heart honestly, and nodded. "Yes, I like it very much!"

Byron laughed.

But then, he was educated by his daughter. "However, shouldn't you book the restaurant that Mommy likes now? You were kicked under the bed by Mommy in the morning!"

Her tone was more or less with dislike.

"It's Mommy's favorite restaurant. When Mommy was working here, she often ate there." Byron said quickly and explained, "Baby, Mommy didn't mean to kick me in the morning. She had a nightmare." Mia glanced at him.

She raised his chin and snorted, "Do you think I'm a three-year-old kid? Am I so easy to be lied to!"

Byron touched his nose in embarrassment.

"When I used to live at my uncle's house, my friend's parents would kiss at the door many times every day when they were apart!" Mia began to share her life experience. "You and Mommy wouldn't. Mommy only kisses me and my brother."

Byron was a little depressed.

He also wanted to kiss Athena.
