Chapter 803 Prejudice

The man named Eddy Casey was Forrest's eldest grandson.

"Jerry, don't talk nonsense!" Eddy said seriously, "When did I give you the bag?"

While speaking, he looked at Athena and said confidently, "Mrs. Crawford, you can ask your subordinates. When they came to ask me, I never concealed anything. I have been helping my grandfather to take care of those people who were affected by the chemical accident all these years, including Shelia. If I have something to give to her, I can go by myself. There is no reason to find Jerry!"

"Jerry, I usually treat you well. How could you slander Eddy?" Forrest angrily stomped his crutch on the ground.

"Eddy!" Jerry stared at Eddy and shouted, "Why don't you admit it! Is it you? You're the instigator, aren't you?" While speaking, Jerry seemed to remember something.

He looked at Athena and said, "Mrs. Crawford, in fact, he was also the one who tricked me into rushing out. He said the platform where I gambled on horses often tampered with the competition and let me pay close attention to it! No, he even taught me to gamble on horses! Eddy, you look quite honest. I didn't expect you to set such a big trap!"

"That's ridiculous. Eddy is an outstanding man in our town, the only one with a doctor degree from a famous school. You said he taught you how to gamble on horses? Are you treating us like fools?"

The middle-aged woman said in a high-pitched voice, "You found the wrong person if you want to frame someone."

Jerry was an orphan, who dropped out of school in his teens and had no job, so everyone was more willing to Eddy, who came out of a famous school.

"I really didn't lie! Aren't you very powerful? How could you make a mistake? You should check him!" Jerry burst into tears. "I really didn't instigate anyone! Why would I do that?"

"There is a reason," Forrest said in a deep voice.

Jerry looked at him. "Grandpa Forrest, are you also going to lie to protect your grandson?"

Forrest looked at him. "It seems you know how your parents died."

Jerry froze. "Didn't you say that my parents died in a car accident?"

"Stop pretending. You should already know that your parents worked in the chemical plant before, shouldn't you? Your father was a technician, and your mother was the chief of the finance department. After the incident in the chemical plant, they died in the sewage area," the middle-aged woman said more harshly, "We only found out after asking the investigation team that they were the ones who reported the chemical plant. Everyone guessed that they were killed by Aunt Alivia in revenge."

"Impossible!"

Jerry roared angrily.

"How could it be possible? No one told me that before. I don't know! I don't know!" he shouted hysterically.

He got up and was about to pounce on Forrest.

"Grandpa Forrest, tell me. She is lying, right? My parents didn't die like this!"

Before he touched Forrest, he was pushed to the ground by Martin's men.

Athena looked down at Jerry who was struggling in sorrow and didn't say much.

"Mrs. Crawford, I know I'm not in a position to defend him. Now, we've found this matter is related to the sewage incident. His parents died tragically, and he is an orphan. Since it didn't cause anything serious, why don't we give him a chance for the sake of his parents?" Forrest pretended to be helpless and begged Athena.
