Chapter 676 Don't Need Me Anymore?

"Caspian, since we broke up, we have been arguing about various issues and haven't talked properly." Evie looked at him, and the anger and hostility disappeared. "I'd like to take the opportunity to talk to you calmly."

"Yeah," Caspian choked up and nodded.

"I took the initiative to approach you. Therefore, I have been trying to maintain our relationship." Evie looked down. "I have suffered too much but haven't told you."

"It won't happen again." Caspian's tears fell.

He felt that he had been suffering from an incurable illness. Caspian thought he could forget Evie as time went by. However, she seemed to be deeply rooted in his organs.

When he missed her, he felt the pain. When he breathed, he felt the pain.

He felt the pain all the time.

"Again?" Evie looked at Caspian and said, "I don't love you anymore."

"Impossible," Caspian instinctively denied.

"I used to think it was impossible. Even when we broke up, I felt I loved you so deeply that I could never forget you in this life," Evie said. She suddenly remembered someone and smiled. "However, destiny does not allow me to spend all my life for you, a scumbag, so Aron came to save me."

Caspian froze when he heard Aron's name.

"After I married Aron, I realized what it felt like to be respected. He supported me no matter what I did and didn't mind the immoral relationship between me and you."

"That's just the beginning..."

"Yes, I know it, but the beginning between us is not as good as the beginning with him," Evie contradicted ruthlessly. "Besides, even if he changes, I will benefit from the respect and love Aron gives me now." After experiencing what was good, Evie understood what was not good enough.

Even if she failed to have a good result with Aron, she felt the process was worth it.

"Don't you need me anymore?"

Caspian looked at Evie, and tears poured down his cheeks.

"Yes."

Evie nodded solemnly.

"Therefore, please don't bother me or my relatives. As for your marriage contract with Miss Bates, it has nothing to do with me. Your decisions have nothing to do with me."

"Mrs. Timberlake?"

At that moment, Aron's voice came from not far away.

"I'm coming."

Evie responded.

Then, she glanced at Caspian again. "That's all I want to say. Take care of yourself."

With that, Evie bypassed Caspian and ran toward Aron.

Caspian stood where he was.

His heart ached like never before. He covered his chest and bent down slowly to suppress his crying sound.

Aron stood in the corridor.

Seeing Evie running over, he reached out to her.

Evie took his hand. "Have you finished chatting with Grandma?"

"The nurse came here to test her blood sugar and blood pressure," Aron replied. "Since you hadn't returned for so long, I came out to look."

"Caspian is here," Evie replied.

Aron was not surprised.

"I made it clear to him this time, and he probably won't come to harass me again." Evie felt relaxed.

Aron looked at her. "What did you tell him?"

Evie also glanced at Aron.

She said something to Caspian naturally but couldn't say those words to Aron.

"Move him and talk some sense into him."
