Chapter 1708 Double the Price

Micah nodded.

He looked at Adonis and said, "Father, Brother Elijah wants to see you very much. Next time, can you..."

"Well." Adonis gently wiped away the tears from Micah's face. "Don't cry any more after eating the apple. You haven't finished drying the scriptures yet. You have to continue today." Micah was speechless.

He wanted to cry even more.

"Next time Elijah comes back, you can give them to him," Adonis said.

"What?" Micah was puzzled.

"Those are the scriptures he copied since he was young." Adonis sighed softly, "They've been left here for so long, and it's time to return them to him."

Although Sally was full, she still went to the coffee shop according to the plan and packed some food.

Good friends would share delicious food.

Elijah didn't stop her.

"Bob said that he treated Gideon yesterday." Elijah said while driving, "The problem is not small, but it's not difficult to deal with. He will be fine after a year or so."

"Did Gideon pay?" Sally grasped the key point.

Elijah laughed and said, "I didn't ask that."

Sally called Bob immediately.

Coincidentally, Bob was with Gideon.

Gideon looked better, but his face was still pale.

Bob saw the caller ID on the screen, and it was Sally.

He got up and said, "Mr. Gideon Hale, please wait a moment. I'm going to answer a call."

After speaking, he went straight out.

He said, "Sally, what's the matter?"

"Did Gideon pay for your treatment?" Sally asked seriously.

For a moment, Bob was uncertain whether he should answer yes or no.

They hadn't mentioned the money until now.

"No..." Bob answered honestly.

"How can you not ask for money?" Sally patted her thigh and said, "Charge him double. Don't worry. He is very rich!" Bob was speechless.

Sure enough, one's ex-girlfriend would turn against him.

"Okay!" Bob said.

If Bob didn't make money when there was an opportunity, wasn't he a fool?

After hanging up the phone, Bob turned back.

Gideon was staring out the window in a daze.

The summer in Girard City had arrived, and it seemed that the heat wave could be seen through the window glass.

"Mr. Gideon Hale," Bob said.

Gideon came back to his senses and asked, "What did she say? Did she ask you to charge me?"

Bob was startled. "How do you..."

Before he finished speaking, he shut up.

He felt quite annoyed that Sally and her ex-boyfriend had such a tacit understanding.

"It's fine." Gideon lowered his eyes and said with some self-deprecating, "We spent half of our lives with each other, and we know each other well. Just follow her idea and charge me three times."

Bob was stunned.

How could Gideon even guess this?

Although Sally only asked him to charge Gideon double, it was almost the same.

Bob said, "Although I will be upset if I say this, you don't look like a person who would let her down like that."

Would a bad man even guess what his ex-girlfriend said?

"You're right." Gideon smiled with a pale face. "But I let her down."

"Forget it." Bob waved his hand hastily and said, "I didn't know you well before, but after getting in touch with you in the past few days, I think that you are a good person, and you will meet a person who suits you!"

Bob laughed and changed the topic. He continued to treat Gideon.

He sighed. Gideon was a heartbroken person.
