Chapter 1622 Exciting?

"Did you take care of this in the afternoon?"

"Yeah." Athena nodded. "All authorizations and procedures have been obtained, and I even got a document to change her name."

"My wife is so thoughtful," Byron praised with an admired expression.

Athena laughed. "Do you want to go back to your room to rest?"

Byron shook his head. "Jaxson said Mia should go pick her fruits at this point."

"Isn't she supposed to be studying?"

"She said it won't make a big difference without a couple of hours." Byron laughed.

Mia looked like a little sheep, soft and glutinous.

When she talked about all kinds of logic, she was very cute.

"Well, let's go there together and take it as a walk!"

"Okay."

Athena and Byron held hands and walked slowly toward the orchard.

Mike held Herbert and scolded it angrily.

Herbert turned his head away, ignoring Mike.

"What's wrong?" Athena asked.

Herbert knew who was the boss of the family.

Hearing Athena's voice, it immediately dropped its ears and lay down on the ground. It was obvious at a glance that it had done something wrong.

"When I sent the rehabilitation doctor out just now, it bared its teeth at him!" Mike replied, "I told it all. He is a doctor. It definitely thinks that the doctor bullied Mr. Crawford! It was so annoying!" Athena laughed and waved to Herbert. "Herbert, come here."

Herbert moved its strong body and slowly came to Athena, looking at Byron from the corner of his eye as if asking for help.

Byron thought it was funny and felt helpless.

"If I don't scold you this time, you'll do the same next time. I'll deduct your dog's snacks, and I won't let Byron play with you for a week."

She didn't know whether Herbert understood or not. Anyway, it didn't drop its ears anymore, and its tail also wagged.

To the little orchard, Evie had a big belly, holding a small fan to blow the air, and put two small baskets at her feet. There were peaches and plums inside.

"Evie, don't you feel uncomfortable on such a hot day?" Athena was helpless and worried.

It had been getting hotter these days.

Pregnant women were inherently afraid of hot weather.

"It's okay," Evie smiled, "The baby is very quiet."

"Daddy, Mommy!"

Mia was wearing overalls and didn't realize that a leaf was stuck in her hair.

Seeing Athena and Byron coming, she immediately got down from the fruit tree and ran over.

"Look at how hot you are." Athena helped her pluck the leaf off her head.

"Hey." Mia smiled and looked at Byron again. "Is Daddy finished recovering? Do you feel better?"

"Well, it's better!" Byron replied.

"Great, look at my peach harvest! Alice said that we can make peach pie at night!" Mia was very happy. Herbert was also happy, barking.

"I'll feed you some too!" Mia was very righteous.

Herbert was instantly happier.

"Look at our cute baby. The family and the dog can be properly arranged!" Evie praised without hesitation.

"Do you want Dad to help?" Byron was eager to try.

Mia was a little worried. "Is it okay?"

"Of course!" Athena said.

Mia immediately became delighted. "There is still a tree over there that hasn't been picked, and that tree was bought for me by Father!" That tree was actually closer to the exit.

It stood to reason that Mia should pick that tree first.

Children believed their thoughts were carefully hidden, but adults could see it through.

Mia wanted to pick this fruit tree with her father.

The father and daughter passed by holding hands.

Evie looked at Athena excitedly. "I've heard about the incident at the restaurant. It's so exciting!"

"Exciting?" Athena didn't know about the follow-up.
