Sally read the congratulatory message with a gentle smile on her face.

She might not be able to guess other people's true intentions, but she was sure that Athena's blessing came from the bottom of her heart.

"Mommy, it's Mia's turn!" Aiden ran up to Athena and grabbed her hand, shaking it.

Athena quickly put away her phone and followed Aiden back to her seat in the audience.

That day was the first time Mia performed on stage.

Although she was in a choir with many other children, everyone from her family who could attend was there.

Even their dog was waiting outside.

She struggled to hold it and then looked to Jaxson for help.

Jaxson immediately took it from her.

"You all came to watch my performance. I'm so happy!" Mia smiled merrily, and her face adorable despite the colorful makeup on her face.

Byron had especially hired photographers for the occasion, though initially, he was hiring a whole team of them.

After Athena found out, she had a serious negotiation, and they settled on just hiring one photographer.

The photographer had a keen sense of his job and captured a shot of Mia while they were backstage.
