Chapter 1477 Dad Is Back!

When Athena left, Mia was busy attending classes at school and taking care of everything in the garden and orchard after returning home.

A few days ago, Jaxson discovered frogs laying eggs in the lake.

After that, Mia added another task to her daily routine of recording the daily changes in frog eggs.

After school, she held the camera and took pictures of the frog eggs.

Although busy, Mia still missed Athena and Byron so much that she shed tears before going to sleep.

Mia hugged Athena's neck and rubbed her cheek against Athena's face. "Mommy, why are you in the hospital? Are you not feeling well? Are you sick?" Then Mia saw the scars on Athena's eyelids.

It was a skin trauma that had scabbed over the past two days, so Athena no longer wore eye protection.

"What happened to your eyes?" Mia asked anxiously.

"I accidentally hurt myself. But it's all right. If you don't believe me, check it out." Athena closed her eyes and moved closer to Mia.

Mia moved closer and looked carefully.

Mia touched Athena, feeling distressed.

Then Mia started to choke up and asked why Athena was careless.

Athena looked at Aiden.

Aiden came over and pat Mia. "Mia, come down. Mommy will be tired."

Mia sobbed. "Right. I have grown taller and heavier..."

With that said, Mia got down from Athena's arms.

"Babies, I have something to tell you." Athena knelt and touched the cheeks of Aiden and Mia, respectively.

Mia said, "I'm listening."

Athena smiled gently, but she was about to cry when she spoke, and her voice was a little choked up, "Your dad is back."

Mia and Aiden were stunned at the same time.

"He was seriously injured and was hidden by bad guys. He also lost his memory, so he had not been home." Athena tried not to be so complicated. "Right now, your dad is upstairs in the ward. You can see him in a while."

"Really?" Mia grabbed Athena's hand.

"Of course." Athena nodded solemnly.

Aiden didn't speak, but his face was sad.

Mia was stunned, then suddenly pinched her arm.

"Ouch, my baby!" Evie exclaimed and immediately stepped forward.

"It hurts!" Mia clutched her arms and hopped on the spot.

Aiden frowned and looked at the bruise on her arm. "You pinched yourself so hard. Of course, you hurt!"

"It hurts. It's not a dream. Aiden, it is not a dream. Dad is back!" Although Mia grinned, she grabbed Aiden's hand and shook it violently.
