Bertha glanced at her daughter. She brought Zora up and knew Zora very well. She knew what Zora was thinking just through a glance.

The arguing couple fell silent.

"Tell me your account number. Seth, give them the money!"

"Mom!" Zora was shocked.

At least, they should bargain with those people.

She didn't agree with Zora about leading these people to make trouble for Imbe Group. Bertha had known these people for so long, and she knew what kind of people they were.

"Slap!" Bertha slapped Zora in the face.

Zora immediately kept quiet. She looked at her mother in shock. "Mom? Why do you hit me for these people?"

Zora's eyes were full of panic.

"If Mrs. Crawford really got injured yesterday, the people of Imbe Group and her grandmother would surround the island. Do you think they won't find you if you stay home all the time?" Bertha lowered her voice and asked through gritted teeth.

Seth finally knew the truth. He looked at Zora in surprise. "So, what that woman said is true. Was it really you who hurt Mrs. Crawford?"
