Chapter 1415 She Wanted to Abandon Him!
In a daze, he heard Bertha tell Seth that his name was Byron Crawford and the female tycoon who had come to the island was his wife.
In fact, there was one thing he never said. From the moment he woke up, he had a vague feeling that he might have been married.
But his wife didn't seem to love him and had been trying to escape from him.
The conversation between Seth and his mother confirmed his feeling.
When he was lingering in the shadow of death, his wife was dating another man.
"Alan, what are you looking at?" At this moment, Zora stood at the door with some of his favorite fruits.
When Zora saw Alan staring out the window again, her heart skipped a beat.
After knowing the truth, her mother told her that Alan suddenly vomited blood that day because he saw Athena, who had come here for a walk that day, through a telescope.
Zora was in a panic. She quietly took the telescope away.
"Nothing," Alan replied.
Zora walked over and looked out the window. When she saw Athena and her new lover, her eyes were filled with hatred.
"Do you know him?" Zora asked Alan.
He shook his head.
Zora said, "That woman is a new female tycoon who has come to the island, and the man beside her is his fiancé, who seems to be a jewelry tycoon. I saw him this afternoon. He is handsome with a pair of blue eyes and has fair skin."
Alan stood there without speaking. He didn't look away.
The profile he saw through the telescope that day came to mind. She was good-looking.
Alan subconsciously touched his scarred face and his legs that could barely stand up.
The accident left him with many injuries.
When he was able-bodied, she didn't like him and always wanted to escape.
Now he had become like this...
His head hurt again immediately.
"Alan!" Zora exclaimed and quickly reached out to help him.
Before she could touch him, he raised his hand to avoid Zora. "I'm fine. I just lie down for a while." With that said, taking hold of the edge of the table, Alan returned to the bed and lay down slowly. There was still no memory in his mind. But the piercing pain in his heart came out for no reason. His wife didn't love him and didn't intend to have him anymore. So be it.
If it were meant to be, he wouldn't bother her anymore.
Zora saw that his face was pale, and his brows were tightly knitted in pain. His eyes fell to the distant coast again. The two blurred figures seemed to be very close.
"Alan must have loved this woman very much in the past, right?" Zora thought.
The first time Zora saw him, he vomited blood and passed out. The second time she saw him, he was in such pain.
He obviously had lost his memory. Why was he still influenced by such a flirtatious woman?
Zora didn't understand. She also felt sad for Alan, the man she loved, and thought he deserved a better woman.
However, on second thought, she figured it out. There was so much more time, and she would try her best to treat Alan well and make him fall in love with her.
In this way, it didn't matter, even if he recovered his memories. Her father said that humans had feelings, and Zora was sure Alan would know who was better! Athena pointed to the area where Byron had planned to build a water house and told Gabe about Byron's plan.
Gabe took a look, then looked at Athena and said, "Athena, do you really think that Byron will come back?"
Everyone had already decided that Byron was dead. It seemed that only Athena and her children were still convinced that Byron was alive and would definitely come back.
"Of course," Athena looked at Gabe and said firmly, "So don't get any ideas about me. We'll never be together. It didn't work out before, and it's not going to happen now." "You haven't even tried. How can you be so sure that it will never work out?" Gabe asked in a deep voice.
