Chapter 1406 Will He Remember?

Seth tried his best to recuperate Byron's body. After a long time, he gradually accepted that Byron was Alan.

Gradually, Alan could stand up and get out of the wheelchair. Then, he could walk with crutches. He was getting better day by day.

However, things wouldn't go as people expected. One day, Imbe Group sent a new vice president over. He had brought all the court documents and forcefully dispersed the residents on the island.

The peaceful life was interrupted. After seeing Liam Carson, the new vice president, Seth felt highly uneasy.

Seth had seen Liam beside Byron from afar. He should be Byron's confidant.

The peaceful life stopped. Seth was worried day and night that Liam would find out about the existence of Byron.

Because of Byron, Zora was happy every day. Seeing Zora's smiling face, Seth decided to protect his sister's love.

Whereupon, Seth had a discussion with Bertha. They decided to give up on the family hotel, sign the moving-out agreement, and then leave the island. They wanted to take Alan far away from Imbe Group. They would start a brand-new life in a new place. Zora was emotional about the decision.

The day before signing the agreement, Zora was in a bad mood. She secretly took a boat and went out to sea with Byron.

On the trip, Byron, who lost his memory, remembered the Precious Corals in the sea.

Zora didn't know why her mother and elder brother gave up her father's hotel. She knew that there was a way to keep the hotel. Without informing Bertha and Seth, Zora united with other locals to start a new round of confrontation with Imbe Group.

It was Byron's idea to ask for help from influencers and attract the public's attention.

When Seth learned about it, everything was too late.

Things were getting big on the Internet. Many volunteers came to the island and had a physical conflict with Liam, the vice president.

Seth had a bad premonition. The woman was coming.

Bertha and Seth watched Byron, who vomited blood and fainted, and were silent for a while.

"He should have seen her," Seth said while wiping the blood on the ground.

"Will he remember?" Bertha's lips trembled slightly. "If he remembers, what will Zora do?"

Seth didn't say anything. He wiped off the blood on the ground and glass. "Mom, let's take a gamble."

"We can't risk!" Bertha was very anxious. She could see Zora was addicted to Alan. Her love for him got deeper day by day. She spent most of her time with Alan.

Even though Alan couldn't accept physical contact with Zora for such a long time, she was thrilled and didn't mind.

Zora never asked them who Alan was and where he came from, as if he was the person she made up called Alan, her fiancé.

Bertha was really worried. After Byron regained his memory, Zora would be heartbroken if he didn't want her. He was Zora's first love!

"If he wakes up and recovers his memory, we'll return him. If he wakes up and doesn't recover his memory, I'll find a way to arrange a boat tomorrow and let Zora take him away," Seth said in a deep voice.

Bertha frowned. She was silent for a while and then said, "Okay. Let's do it. Let God decide what happens next. If he is our family, he is!"

Seth nodded. He stood up and walked to Byron. The latter was still holding a telescope tightly in his hand. Seth took it away and put it on the table.

The night had completely fallen. In the dark, people couldn't see the line between the sky and the sea.

Seth looked out the window. He remembered the woman's shocked look when she raised her head to look at him.
