Chapter 1396 Leaving With Alan in the Night

Zora's hand froze in mid-air.

"Alan..." She looked very depressed.

Alan turned pale apologetically. "Give me some more time."

"Hmm, I won't push you. We have a lifetime. I'll wait for you to get better." Zora smiled gently.

Alan smiled back.

The headache was quite severe.

He took another look at the position where Logan installed the surveillance camera. "It might be a surveillance device."

"Surveillance?" Zora stared in shock. "Are they going to monitor the Coral Sea?"

"I suppose so," Alan answered, "But it doesn't matter. I can confirm that the corals are endangered. When more authoritative experts arrive and identify it, I have a way to stop them from starting work on the island."

Zora lowered her eyes. "But that woman said even if they don't start work, they will drive us out!"

The ownership was in their hands.

Zora knew Athena was capable of driving them out!

"I'll find a way. You and Bertha don't need to worry," Alan spoke softly.

Of course, Zora was worried because Athena seemed tough.

But Alan had a headache. She didn't want him to think anymore, so she nodded gently.

Just then, someone downstairs called Zora.

It sounded urgent.

Zora looked at Alan.

Alan nodded at her. "Go ahead. I'll be fine soon."

"Hmm!"

Zora ran downstairs in a hurry.

It was a handsome tanned man wearing a white T-shirt and board shorts.

"Seth, is something wrong?" Zora asked in a deep voice.

Seth Welding, Zora's brother, glanced inside warily and pulled Zora toward the sea.

Almost at the beach, Zora shook off his hand impatiently. "What's going on?"

"Why have so many people come to the island? They look like mercenaries or something!" Seth spoke in a deep voice.

He had seen mercenaries.

Those people looked just like the mercenaries he had seen.

"They were sent by the businessmen!" Zora said in a deep voice, "During the day, the wife of the president of Imbe Group came, and those people might be sent by her."

"The president's wife?" Seth was shocked. "Had she been here?"

"No." Zora frowned. "Why would I let her come here?"

Seth pondered for a moment before saying, "Zora, you and Mom should leave with Alan in the night. I'll prepare a ship for you. I'll take care of the rest!"

"What's wrong with you and Mom? She said she wanted to leave during the day, and you're urging us to leave now!" Zora was unhappy. "Alan and I have decided to stay with the island and Dad's hotel!" "You have no idea what will happen if you stay!" Seth said angrily.

Zora was rarely scolded by Seth.

She lost her temper too. "Then tell me, what will happen? Seth, I used to believe in you and think you could definitely find a way to save Dad's hotel, but you've been messing around. Besides..." Zora instinctively looked back.

She didn't finish her sentence.

"Anyway, I don't believe you anymore. I'll protect this island and Dad's hotel on my own!" she continued.

"Is your solution to poison the corals?" Seth asked in a low voice.

Zora was surprised. "How do you know?"

"You asked my friend to buy fungal powder for you. Did you think he wouldn't tell me?" Seth pointed at the surveillance camera and continued, "Did you see that? Do you think the wife of the president of Imbe Group is easy to deal with? She supports such a large group on her own. She's not someone you can handle!"
