Chapter 1303 Her Man

Usually, when Byron and Heather were engaged, her background had been checked out.

If there was a childhood sweetheart, the person in charge of the investigation would not miss it.

Although Byron had certain doubts about Sally's sanity, he immediately sent someone to investigate this man named Robert.

"I have come into contact with the Anderson family." Athena looked at the information about Robert's family and said in a deep voice, "It holds a leading position in the store market. I was invited to the Anderson family's dinner party the year before last. If Robert and Heather are the same age, he should also attend the dinner party of his own family, but I haven't seen him."

"It's normal you haven't met him. I heard later that he had a big accident. His lower leg was amputated, and he stopped attending school since then," Sally replied.

Athena was a little surprised.

Soon, the person who went to investigate Robert called Byron.

"Mr. Crawford, there is indeed such a person in the Anderson family. He is the youngest son of the current president of Anderson Group. Because of an accident and amputation when he was a child, he has been at home and rarely appeared in front of the public. We have also verified that he and Miss Ross did go to school together."

"Continue to check his recent whereabouts and who he has been in frequent contact with," Byron said in a deep voice.

Just as he hung up the phone, Athena, watching the Anderson family, suddenly sat up straight.

"What's wrong?" Byron immediately stepped forward.

Athena pointed to a photo full of people. "Look at this person!"

Byron leaned over, and Sally seemed curious, got up, and went over, looking at Athena's phone with her head tilted.

Athena was watching a documentary of the Anderson family's All-Star dinner last year. At first glance, she seemed to spot a familiar face in the crowd. Subconsciously, she took a screenshot.

Then she enlarged the screenshot and looked at each face.

Finally, she saw that face in a remote corner on the west side.

"Isn't these one of the two killers you posted?" Sally's eyes were sharp, and she suddenly exclaimed after recognizing the person at a glance. Byron also recognized him.

"Is this Robert?" Athena pointed to a figure in front of the killer. He was thin, wearing a black suit, leaning on a cane, and standing in a strange posture.

"Although I can't see the face, it must be. How can there be such a coincidence in this world? Robert and Heather were childhood sweethearts. And the killer who avenged Heather appeared at the Anderson family's dinner party!" As Sally thought about Gideon's near-death experience this time, her anger began to grow.

"Damned Robert! How dare he hurt my man!"

Her voice fell, and three gazes in the ward immediately fell on Sally.

Sally was suddenly embarrassed.

"Well... Do you want to drink water? I'll get you some water!" Sally got up and fled out of the ward in a panic.

Byron looked at Gideon. "Her man?"

Gideon's face was pale, but his smile was full of doting and joy. "Yes."

"Mr. Hale, take good care of yourself. We'll go back and find out about this." Athena got up.

Now she only wanted to catch the murderer behind the scenes and make that person pay.

As for Sally and Gideon, it was their own story, and they should figure it out themselves. "Okay." Gideon nodded weakly.

Then Byron and Athena left the hospital in a hurry.

Just as their car had been driven from the garage, a hunched figure walked out from a security door, watching the car drifting away.
