My Mommy Became A Billionaire After the Breakup -
Chapter 1250
Chapter 1250 Staying
"Is that so?" Athena crossed her legs, leaned forward slightly, and got closer to Ottilie. "Then let me test you." Ottilie glanced at Athena and replied, "You can't defeat me."
"Who said anything about fighting?" Athena said with a smile. "Can you recite the multiplication table of nine?" Ottilie frowned, thought momentarily, and asked, "What is that?"
"Do you know Sleeping Beauty?" Athena continued to ask.
Ottilie's brows furrowed even deeper. "I don't know what that is."
"Hmm..." She thought for a while. "What about writing?"
"I can read."
Athena pursed her lips. "What about the foreign language?"
"I can speak it."
Athena shook her head. "Apart from fighting and escaping, it seems like there's nothing else you know, right?"
Evie probably understood what Athena meant.
With a solemn expression, Evie nodded in agreement. "Even in Mailand, some children remain illiterate..."
Ottilie's brows were furrowed so tightly that they could probably crush a mosquito.
"I can learn. I learn things very quickly," she said, thinking shortly and speaking earnestly.
Even though she excelled at evading, it would be much better if she could learn once and for all in a safe environment.
After all, her father was old.
Dorian could take on twenty opponents.
Unaware that in Ottilie's mind, he was already seen as quite old.
"Alright, since you put it that way, I'll believe you... How about giving you a year to learn? If you excel in your studies, it will prove you are competent," Athena said seriously. "Deal. But during this period, you must ensure my father's safety and mine!"
"Deal."
Athena stretched out her hand.
Ottilie hesitated.
She extended her hand and firmly shook Athena's hand.
The wealthy and beautiful woman had a soft, delicate hand, and a faint, pleasant fragrance could be detected.
"Go find your father now. You'll see him when you enter the main gate of that house over there." Athena pointed to a small building in the distance.
That was the dormitory for the bodyguards.
Ottilie nodded.
As she turned to leave, she paused and looked back at Athena as if something had crossed her mind.
"I will take responsibility for protecting your child to make up for my father's mistakes," she said, fearing that Athena might not believe her. "I'm very skilled in this aspect. When I was eight years old, I even protected my father!"
"Let's discuss it again later."
Ottilie seemed to dislike being forced or pressured into a decision.
She listened to Athena's words attentively.
She went to find her father.
After she had walked away, Evie looked at Athena and asked, "Do you want to keep this father and daughter here?"
"Don't you find her adorable?" Athena gazed at the slender figure walking away.
The lawn had some uneven spots.
She stumbled a little with her foot.
After regaining her balance, she walked forward calmly and composedly.
"She is indeed adorable, but at such a young age, to be so adept at killing..." Evie had recently been following Aron and watched a suspenseful movie that sought into antisocial personality disorder. This child looked like the kind of person who lacked emotion.
"That's why I want to observe her for a year," Athena said calmly. "If she truly has a penchant for killing, then we cannot keep her here."
Evie nodded.
"But for a child so young to live with a killer and be taught all sorts of strange things, it's not surprising she appears a bit peculiar. Let's observe her," Evie mumbled.
