Chapter 1189 Paul Disappears!

Alison wouldn't give up and sent Mike another voice message.

She didn't know if Mike listened it or not.

Soon, Alison received another message. [After we confirm with Paul, we will contact you immediately.]

After that, Mike stopped replying to her.

"We shouldn't have transferred the house and money to Paul before we receive the house and money from the Crawford family!" Josh's face turned pale. "He hates us so much that he won't cooperate with our request for money and a house from the Crawford family."

"I'll call him!" Olivia said. She hurriedly took out her mobile phone and called Paul.

However, the line was always busy.

Paul also blocked her number.

A crisp slapping sound was heard.

Before Olivia could react,

Josh slapped her across the face.

Olivia was dumbfounded for a moment.

"It's all your fault. If you didn't urge us, we wouldn't have transferred the house and money to Paul in such a hurry?" Josh snapped.

"That's right. It's all your fault. You advised us to do so. If we don't get the house and money from the Crawford family, we'll beat you to death!" Alison snarled, pointing at her daughter. Unexpectedly, Josh slapped Alison across the face the next second. "How dare you say that? Shouldn't you take the blame for that?"

Alison was stunned for a moment.

Then she yelled, "How dare you slap me!"

Then they fought together.

Since moving to the city, Josh and Alison had never laid a finger at Olivia. She ran away in tears after being slapped.

Their two young sons cried bitterly when they saw their parents fighting.

After they stopped fighting,

they began to think of ways to look for Paul.

Since the Crawford family was willing to gift them money and property, all they needed to do was to find Paul.

It was not a big deal to apologize to Paul or kneel in front of him, begging for mercy.

They couldn't give up tens of millions of dollars so easily.

Early the next morning,

Josh and Alison went to the school to look for Paul.

When the dean saw the two of them, he hit the ceiling. "Damn you! What have you done to Paul? Paul took a year off of school. Do you realize how well he's doing in school? If he continues to study, he could have attended a top university."

"Take a year off of school?" Josh's face turned pale. "Where did he say he was going?"

"I'm going to ask the same of you!" The dean was furious.

Josh and Alison left in embarrassment.

"He took a year off of school. T-This has to be deliberate," Josh said. They looked like a wreck while looking at each other's scratched faces.

The community had Paul's custody.

So they hurried to the community center.

They were ruthless to Paul. They even broke Paul's ribs the year before.

See them coming,

the staff all darkened their faces.

"How dare you ask us where Paul is going!"

"We're going to ask the same of you! Paul hasn't come back since he said he was heading home two days ago!"

The staff was on a unified response.

But in fact, several people knew where Paul was now.

Paul was a smart kid.

He knew his uncle and aunt would look for him in a hurry if he disappeared.

"Stop acting! You must have hidden Paul somewhere else. Don't worry. I-I won't hit him. I only want to speak to him," Josh explained anxiously.

Josh looked like a mess because Alison had left several bloody scratches on his face during their earlier fight.

"We really do not know!"

No matter how they asked or even tried to fight the staff in the community,

they got the same reply.

Out of helpless,

Josh and Alison called the police.

They finally received a response from the police late at night.
