Chapter 1176 Bravery

"Then we can get whatever we want?" Alison came to her senses.

"It's nothing to the wealthy family to ask for tens of millions of dollars! But I think asking for money is too specific. Let's ask for a house!" Olivia was very excited, "Let's look at the new house now. I remember Crawford Group, Imbe Group, and Stella Group all have luxury property projects in Girard City!"

"Is it really okay?" Josh still hesitated.

They couldn't afford to mess with that kind of tycoon.

"How will you know if you don't try it?" Alison said without hesitation, "Your sister is bringing us good luck!"

She believed that God would not let her suffer so much in the past two years for no reason.

"Cruel to be kind," she said.

In another room, Paul listened to the joy and excitement of the family outside.

He sat motionless, with lowered lids.

There was a red mole at the end of his right eye, and under the light, a sense of wickedness shimmered in his beautiful eyes.

He smiled.

Through the thin sweater, his fingers touched the pendant behind the sweater.

It was a pendant made after his parents' rings were melted away.

He knew this money-grabbing family. They would react like this when they knew Paul had saved the tycoon's child.

But sweet dreams were only for one night.

What soon greeted the family was a nightmare.

He thought of Mia's wanton smile.

"Sorry to take advantage of your parents.

But I have saved your life. It should be considered as paying me back." thought Paul.

...

Early the next morning, Athena carefully inspected Mia's wound.

After confirming that Mia's wound had not become inflamed, she sighed with relief.

"Mommy, I don't feel any pain now, don't worry!" Mia hugged Athena's head and patted her shoulder lightly. "I'm a brave girl!"

Athena laughed, allowing Mia to hug her head.

Athena gently circled Mia's body with one hand and said, "Sorry, my baby. It's because I'm not brave enough. I was scared then..."

"Don't be afraid! It's all right." Mia continued to comfort Athena.

"Dear Mia, please comfort Daddy later. He is more afraid than Mommy," Athena said.

Mia sighed helplessly.

"I know, he shed tears yesterday..."

"Yeah, actually, Dad is worried about you. Can you call him Dad in the future?" Athena asked gently, "You called him Daddy yesterday, and he was so happy." Mia thought about it.

"This is not my business alone, and I need to discuss it with Aiden."

Athena laughed. "Okay!"

"Is Mommy going to work?" Mia asked.

Because when Athena came over, she had already put on the clothes for going out.

"A little boy saved you yesterday. Mommy and Daddy are going to thank him," Athena told Mia.

Mia blinked her eyes.

"I also want to go and thank him!" Mia said.

Mia continued, "I know him!"

"You know him?" Athena was surprised. "So... you actually know who saved you?"

"Yeah." Mia nodded.

"I saw Paul yesterday.

"He came out of the school and saw the situation here, and he walked against the scattered crowd and ran to the front.

"I saw him pull back the slingshot," Mia told Athena.

Athena was still puzzled. "Paul is in the fourth grade. How do you know him?"

"There is a photo of him on the bulletin board of the school's top students. He is always the first in the grade. He is so smart!" Mia looked admiring Paul. Athena then realized Mia's meaning.

Mia's acquaintance meant to know who this person was.
