“No, I didn’t!” Karina exclaimed, frowning.

Suddenly, she jolted awake, her eyes wide open and her chest heaving.

She stared at the ceiling, disoriented.

After a moment, she collected herself and sighed, reminiscing about her dream as she closed her eyes.

She thought about Barlow day and night, and now he had invaded her dreams.

When she opened her eyes again, she moved her body and was stunned to find herself lying on the bed.

Why was she Lying on the bed?

She distinctly remembered falling asleep on the sofa.

Karina quickly sat up and checked herself.

“Are you feeling better?” she asked.

“With you by my side, my illness has disappeared,” he replied, a smile playing on his lips.

“Where did these clothes come from? Did you buy them?” she asked, her voice filled with surprise.
