Willie patted his belly indifferently and said to Isabelle, "I've been eating good lately, so I've gained some weight. It's no big deal." "This must be Fade?" Willie's gaze shifted over.

Isabelle glanced at Fade and said, "Yes, this is the person who saved me. Without him, I might not even be standing here right now."

After that, Isabelle immediately asked, "Willie, how have you been these years? Are you doing okay? How did you end up here? Where did you get this house?" Isabelle's face was full of concern. There were so many questions in her heart. She wanted to know everything that her brother had been through.

However, at this moment, a shout came from outside.

"Mr. An, General Han of Wuling Army is outside!"

Hearing this, Willie smiled and said, "Mr. Han is here. Please let him in."

Willie explained, "Isabelle, Fade, I invited some guests. Let me go say hi to them first. You guys feel free to take a seat anywhere."

After that, Willie went to welcome the guests with a smile.

Seeing this, Isabelle could only sigh. Then she gave Fade an apologetic look and found a seat to sit down.

At the door, after exchanging greetings, a burly middle-aged man that was about thirty or forty years old, came in with Willie.

Judging from the looks of it, this man was known as General Han from Wuling Army.

Willie had just told him to take a seat when another shout came in from outside.

"Mr. An, Miss Xu from Jade Chamber of Commerce is here!"

Once again, Willie went out to welcome his guest.

This went on for a while as guests arrived one by one.

More importantly, these guests were all people of high status and importance.

They were either ranked officials from the army, rich businessmen, or famous people. There was no average person.

Isabelle was a little surprised by the situation. She had no idea how Willie came to know all these people. Even more so, he appeared to be quite close to them.

However, at this moment, Isabelle could only keep these questions to herself.

In the end, he had welcomed around twenty or so guests.

Suddenly, there was a rush of footsteps heard outside. A man that appeared to be the butler scurried over to Willie's side and reported, "Mr. An, the Duke of Pingling, Mr. Nangong is here." Suddenly, Willie's face changed greatly. A bright smile appeared on his face. He hurried out of the hall and went straight to the gate to welcome him.

All the distinguished guests present also got up and looked toward the entrance expectantly.

Only Fade and Isabelle were confused.

"Who is the Duke of Pingling?"

"His last name is Hangong. Could he somehow be related to the royal family of Southern Forest?"

Just as the two of them were trying to figure out, Willie came in to the hall with a handsome looking man.

All the other guests immediately cupped their hands and greeted him.

"Greetings, Your Highness."

The man waved his hand dismissively and said with a smile, "You guys are being too polite. I'm here as Mr. An's guest, there's no need to be so courteous." Everyone stood up and started to talk amongst themselves.

Willie invited the young man to sit at the main seat. Meanwhile, he sat beside him.

It was clear that Willie really admired him.

As for Fade and Isabelle, they managed to figure out who that man was from listening to all the whispers around them.

The Duke of Pingling, Jose Nangong, was the son of Gregory Nangong.

Gregory was the brother of Santoso, the King of Southern Forest.

In other words, Jose was Santoso's nephew, and Elizabeth's cousin. He was definitely a relative of royal blood.

It was no wonder everyone was being so respectful toward him.

After everyone had taken their seats, everyone's gaze inexplicably fell onto Fade and Isabelle.

After all, everyone knew everyone here, except for those two.

When they took a look at Fade, they were quite indifferent.

But when they saw Isabelle, they could not help but reveal a little shock in their eyes.

Isabelle had not covered her face that day. Her beauty stunned all the guests.

Even Jose's attention had been caught. He stared at Isabelle for several seconds.

Willie took the initiative to introduce them. "Everyone, this is my sister, Isabelle, and her husband, Fade."

"They've just arrived in imperial city.

We haven't seen each other in years. Today, we finally managed to

reunite. That is why I am hosting this banquet. I invited all of you to welcome them to this city. Thank you all for coming today."

Upon hearing this introduction, the atmosphere turned lively.

"Oh, she's Mr. An's sister. Nice to meet you, Miss An!"

"I've heard rumors of your beauty back in Yoraland. Seeing you in person today, I can see that they are all true!" "The two of you haven't seen each other in so long. This is such a joyous occasion. We must celebrate by drinking." After a round of small talk, everyone began to eat and drink.

After drinking a few glasses of wine, Willie's face became ruddy. His body began to sway slightly. He pointed to the distinguished guests and said, "I was forced to leave Yoraland and flee here. Thanks to everyone's help."

"I'm so glad that I can finally see my sister again."

"Here, let's have a toast!"

After that, Willie raised his glass and downed his wine.

The guests below also raised their glasses in response.

"Mr. An is so fortunate. You have truly been blessed by the Heavens."

"Indeed. That fake, An roe, intentionally tried to hurt you. You must take revenge on him."

"If you decide to attack Yoraland one day, you can count on me to have your back, Mr. An."

Listening to their comments, Willie

was getting red up. He poured himself another glass of wine and downed. Then, he smashed the glass to the floor and shouted out

tot

proudly, "With all of your help, tam confident that I can successfully

take down Yoraland."

"When I become King, I swear not to forget all the support that you guys have shown me. I will reward you all immensely."

Hearing that, the crowd responded enthusiastically.

"Well said!"

"As expected of a man like you, Mr. An. Always doing things with such vigor!"

"I wish you nothing but success, Mr. An!"

These guests were getting more hyped up, but Isabelle couldn't help frowning.

She felt like the things her brother was saying were becoming more outlandish. She could not trust his words.

However, it wasn't appropriate for her to speak up right now. She just buried all her thoughts to the back of her mind. When she had the right opportunity, she would have a good talk with Willie.
