Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook -
Chapter 551

Mitchel was willing, although he would like to know what Raegan preferred.
«It's not necessary. "I'll be heading to the airport with the group on the volunteer bus," Raegan responded, choosing not to draw too much attention to her charitable efforts.
Mitchel nodded, his tone warm and kind. "I miss you. Do you feel the same?
Caught in Mitchel's intense, hopeful gaze, Raegan felt her cheeks heat up. He changed the conversation and said, "Now I should get some rest."
With a touch of sadness in Mitchel's eyes, he said, "Sleep well."
"Good night".
As Raegan ended the call, she couldn't get Mitchel's disappointed expression out of her head, making it difficult for her to fall asleep.
He tried to force himself to sleep, aware of the busy day ahead.
But just as sleep was beginning to take hold, a loud, sudden boom woke Raegan up.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake violently.
Raegan, still feeling confused, heard things crash to the ground.
From outside, a voice shouted: “Run! It's an earthquake!
Raegan snapped out of her drowsiness completely.
He sat up abruptly and saw everything in the closet falling, along with a thunderous noise.
Without time to think, Raegan grabbed the door handle and tried to run.
But at that critical moment, the door seemed stuck, refusing to open no matter how hard he pulled.
The area, being mountainous, lacked hotels. Some volunteers stayed with the villagers and others at the school.
Most of the school buildings were in poor condition, but their metal doors were solid and did not wear out easily. The problem was that the locks were old and sometimes needed someone from outside to open them if they got stuck. Trying to kick it open from the inside was useless. It had to be done from the outside.
Trapped, Raegan began banging on the metal door and shouting for help: “Hello? Can anyone hear me? "I need help with this door."
But outside, the sound of people running in panic drowned out his voice.
Then, an announcement came over the town's loudspeakers.
«Attention everyone! "Due to an imminent landslide threat in the mountains, please evacuate immediately to the central safe area of the town."
Raegan realized that it was a landslide that was causing the chaos, not an earthquake.
However, the school was right at the base of the mountain, placing it in the direct path of potential danger.
Raegan refused to give up and continued searching for something to open the door with.
But there were no levers or anything inside, and even when she tried to use the legs of a bench, they broke, leaving her empty-handed.
Hurriedly, Raegan grabbed her phone to call the team leader.
“Bang!” Then suddenly, a loud noise filled the room, followed by the sound of a boot hitting the metal door.
A voice from outside called out, "Miss Foster, are you there?"
Raegan yelled, “Yes, I'm here! I'm here".
"Stay away from the door," the voice ordered.
Raegan quickly moved away.
After two more loud knocks, the door burst open and a man dressed in black entered.
Raegan didn't recognize him. This man was not with the volunteers.
"Don't worry. Mr. Dixon sent us to keep you safe,” he said breathlessly, handing her a dust mask. «Do you have everything you need? We have to go, now.
Raegan hadn't even had a chance to wonder when Mitchel had arranged this protection. He hurriedly put on his mask and, with a wave of panic, said, “I don't feel like packing my suitcase. Let's go".
In the midst of chaos, everything could be left behind except life itself.
