Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook -
Chapter 404

Raegan carefully removed the broken glass with the tweezers, then blew on the wound out of habit. This was what he did whenever Janey got hurt. She didn't think much of it, but Mitchel, on the other hand, stiffened when she blew on his bare skin.
He could handle the pain, but if she continued like this, he would lose control of himself.
Raegan stopped blowing on the wound. He proceeded to disinfect it and apply medication, which little by little calmed Mitchel.
The last step was to bandage it. But the problem was that the wound was in a complicated place. And the only way to bandage it was to wrap the bandage around Mitchel's chest.
Raegan took a deep breath and determinedly began to wrap the gauze under her arm.
Mitchel's chest was so wide that Raegan's arms couldn't reach all the way around him. Frowning, she leaned closer, hoping it would allow her to reach the roll of gauze, but her lips accidentally touched his back.
Then Raegan felt her back burn. She stiffened with embarrassment.
She struggled for a moment and finally gave up, leaning on Mitchel's back, defeated. "Help me," he whispered.
Mitchel grabbed her fingers, took the roll of gauze, and pressed it into her other palm.
The entire time Raegan bandaged the wound, she had to keep her face pressed against Mitchel's back, or she wouldn't be able to reach the gauze.
It was very embarrassing. He scolded himself for not insisting that they go to the hospital.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, he finished bandaging the wound.
Raegan breathed a sigh of relief. When he straightened up, he had completely forgotten he was in the car and hit his head on the low roof. Startled, she lost her balance and fell forward.
He was about to fall onto the back of the front seat, which was equipped with an LCD screen. Needless to say, it would hurt a lot if he hit his face with it.
He screamed and closed his eyes, waiting for the inevitable pain.
But the pain never came. Instead, he crashed into Mitchel. Startled, she found her lips pressed against his bare skin.
To make matters worse, she felt him stiffen under her touch. She blushed furiously and struggled to push him away.
As a result, Mitchel's back, which had just been bandaged, hit the back of the chair. He couldn't help but cry out in pain.
Raegan stood still, mortified by what she had just done. She stared at his pale face, her heart breaking with guilt. "Does it hurt?" she asked, terrified.
With his eyebrows furrowed and his lips pressed together, Mitchel looked like he could barely speak. His chest was pounding violently, as if he needed to take several deep breaths to calm himself.
Raegan reached out and gingerly touched his back to see if the wound had opened.
But the next moment, Mitchel grabbed her hand and pulled her along. Their faces were mere centimeters away. He looked at her with burning eyes and lips of a frightening paleness. "You may need painkillers."
Raegan quickly asked, “Where are they?”
«Right here. He suddenly lowered his head and kissed her.
Mitchel's lips gently brushed against Raegan's, igniting a warmth inside her. He felt like his heart was jumping, every part of him yearning for more…
Mitchel's heart pounded with longing. He wanted to hug Raegan and shower her with kisses in that moment. He had thought he had lost her, but later he ran into her, which made him go from sadness to joy. Despite Raegan's loss of memory of their shared past and her resistance to his advance, Mitchel was determined to make things right with her, knowing that she was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
With a whirlwind of emotions swirling inside him, Mitchel was left speechless. All he wanted was to hold Raegan in his arms. But he restrained himself, limiting his kiss to her lips, overflowing with boundless affection.
When Raegan regained her composure, she reacted with indignation and punched Mitchel's chest angrily.
“Ouch…” Mitchel groaned in pain, and Raegan realized that she had inadvertently touched the wound on his shoulder again.
Raegan's actions softened. He felt a mixture of shame, frustration and anger.
“Raegan…” Reluctant to let go of her lips, Mitchel held her face gently, calling her softly. "You don't want to hit me, do you?"
"Don't talk nonsense!" Raegan raised her hand, ready to hit him again. However, she stopped herself as she remembered how he had risked everything to protect her moments ago.
Mitchel laughed softly, caressing her lips with his fingers. "It seems like they haven't forgotten me."
Raegan frowned, her voice a mix of embarrassment and annoyance. «Have you gone crazy? "Stop talking nonsense."
Mitchel's gaze intensified: "What if I can show you that it's true?"
Raegan was speechless. How could I demonstrate something like that to him?
Before he could say a word, Mitchel closed the distance between them again.
"You!" Raegan's eyes snapped open, pushing against him.
Before she could say another word, Mitchel gently bit her lips.
“Hmm…”
The sensation was more exciting than painful, igniting in her an unusual mix of pleasure and numbness.
Mitchel held her firmly and his tongue deftly skirted her defenses, deepening the kiss.
His arm acted like an invisible rope that held Raegan firmly, preventing her from moving. Despite his injuries, his strength was undeniable.
Raegan felt an intense pressure on her chest, as if his hand could fuse her being with his.
His hand had a ferocious intensity, as if he wanted to merge it with his own being, fusing flesh and blood. Besides, he was only half dressed.
