Overcome by anger, Nicole could no longer contain herself and slapped Hallie roughly across the face.

The impact caused Hallie's head to spin, her cheek quickly turning red and swollen.

"Mrs. Schultz, I have respected you as an elder, but your actions do not deserve any respect. I will not stand by while you slander my mother," Nicole declared, her voice shaking with anger.

Hallie, completely humiliated in front of the spectators and stung by Nicole's reprimand, lost her composure. "How dare you hit me!" she screamed, her eyes blazing with fury.

"I'm going to kill you!"

In her rage, Hallie lunged at Nicole, who, in an attempt to dodge, moved too abruptly and nearly fell on her back.

Clutching her waist, Nicole struggled to regain her balance.

At that critical moment, Rhett appeared at her side, offering support. “Are you okay, Miss Lawrence?” he asked worriedly.

Rhett had planned a meeting with Nicole that morning to finalize some details of the agreement. Upon arriving at the location, he arrived just in time to catch Nicole, preventing her from falling due to Hallie's aggression.

Meanwhile, Hallie, consumed by her rage, was being held back by a man dressed in black. “Who do you think you are? Do you want to die?” she screamed, thrashing against his grip.

“You have no idea who I am! I'm part of the Schultz family. My cousin runs the Schultz Group. You'll be sorry when he finds out. “He’ll have you all thrown out of Ardlens.” Hallie continued to rant, breathless with fury.

Unbeknownst to her, the man holding her was one of Jarrod's bodyguards, assigned to keep Nicole safe.

Aware of Hallie's relationship with Jarrod, the bodyguard was careful not to hurt her, but firmly prevented her from attacking Nicole again. His main directive was to ensure Nicole's safety.

Given the volatile situation, the bodyguard had already alerted Jarrod about the ongoing conflict as soon as it escalated.

Still furious, Hallie taunted Rhett, “I knew it! Nicole, you are despicable. You broke up with my cousin just a few days ago, and now you're with another man? “You are nothing but a shameless homewrecker.”

Nicole, stung by the harsh words, regretted not fighting back more when she had the chance.
