Every aspect of this place seemed strangely peculiar, and the enigmatic witch dressed in red only added to the feeling of unease.

The witch's claim to be superior to Nicole's grandmother seemed genuine, casting a shadow of doubt on the true nature of her practices.

Unwilling to risk alerting anyone ahead of time, Nicole meticulously worked on the latch, taking a full thirty minutes to do so without making a sound. Looking at the motionless snake, she heaved a sigh of relief.

As Nicole quietly stepped outside, she was met with an unexpected sight. The house was perched on a colossal thousand-year-old tree. To get down, she had to slide down the trunk, a much easier task than trying to climb it.

Seeing a rope nearby, Nicole grabbed it and used it to climb down the tree. When she reached the ground, she realized she was inside a large natural pit, surrounded by towering trees. Each of them had peculiar white cocoon-like structures hanging from their branches, resembling large nests.

Nicole's curiosity prompted her to cautiously approach one of the strange cocoons. However, what she discovered inside made her knees tremble and she recoiled in horror.

There was movement inside the cocoon, something twisting and writing in a way that sent shivers down his spine. The sight was, to say the least, disturbing.

Feeling overwhelmed by the strange and terrifying environment around her, Nicole's only wish was to escape as quickly as possible. However, with the dense forest obscuring her view, finding a way out seemed nearly impossible without guidance.

Staying alert, Nicole silently made her way to a striking red house that stood amidst the dense foliage. Its stark contrast to the greenery only served to add to its eerie appeal.

As she got closer, Nicole picked up faint sounds emanating from within. Muffled screams pierced the silence and a chill ran down her spine. The screams persisted, urgent and haunting, urging Nicole forward despite her growing fear.

Gathering her courage, she approached the red house and cautiously peered through the only window, slowly raising her head to peer inside.

What she saw left her terrified. An old woman, her long white hair disheveled, was greedily sucking blood from another person's neck, a look of pure satisfaction etched on her face. Bloodcurdling sobs emanated from the victim, her life force draining away with each gulp.

Nicole watched in horror as the old woman's features seemed to undergo a grotesque transformation, her wrinkles smoothing out with each sip, leaving her looking slightly rejuvenated, yet disturbingly aged.

The sight was incomprehensible, leaving Nicole speechless as she covered her mouth in disbelief. As she watched the helpless victim approach the embrace of death, Nicole's heart pounded in despair, but she knew that any attempt to intervene would be futile.
