Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1421: Don't blame him for being ruthless.
"How dare you brag about another man in front of me!" Chris showed his displeasure. Especially Marcos!
"I was worried you'd take it lightly, that's why I warned you."
"Whatever, you're just aiding another man's bullying and I'm going to punish you for it."
With that, she lowered her head and kissed his neck.
"No, it tickles!" Linda laughed and tried to push him away.
But the force was mild and, to Chris, it felt like lust.
He grabbed her around the waist and pulled her down on the bed, turning her over and pinning her down.
"I'm going to punish you until you can't get out of bed today, and see if next time you dare show off to another man."
Linda rested her hands on his chest and begged for mercy, "I know I'm wrong, next time I won't."
"Too late!" Chris went back to nibbling on her neck.
Linda wrapped her arms around his neck and let him do whatever he wanted, the corners of her mouth always turned up and her brow furrowed in a fierce stare.
Paulina, Paulina, since you and Marcos have two children, I'm going to tear them apart one by one!
...
Not only did they steal the land in Ciudad E that the Rawlin's wanted, but in the last few days, Marcos made Alvaro buy directly a company that was in alliance with the Bartram Group. This was known to Mr. Juan, who was surprised to find out.
The other company had always had no quarrel with the Leoz Group and had done well enough not to be reduced to being bought out.
"What's going on here?"
After dinner, Marcos was called into his father's study.
Mr. Juan looked at him with a serious expression, "When you took over the Leoz Group, did I say that all companies are not easy and that you can't force the acquisition of any company?" "That's what I said."
"Then why did you want to acquire that company this time?". Mr. Juan frowned.
Marcos was silent for a few seconds before speaking slowly, "Because he was privately meddling in the Leoz Group's business in various ways, and I could not allow him to repeatedly test the Leoz Group's and my boundaries."
"So that's how it is." Mr. Juan nodded and sighed softly. "He did, and I wonder how many people will call out The Leoz Family behind his back for bullying a small company because of his family's greatness."
"Does it matter what people talk about?" asked Marcos rhetorically.
"Not that it matters, but The Leoz family shouldn't be misunderstood that way." Sister Juan frowned and continued, "No one cares about the reasons why you do it, only the results."
"Dad, I understand what you mean, but people don't offend me, I don't offend them." This was Mark's thinking.
He had chosen to turn a deaf ear to the amount of business that the Bartram Group, in conjunction with several others, had stolen from the Leoz Group in the interim, and had tarnished the reputation of the Leoz Group in various ways out there.
This time, it was the first time he was fighting back, but not the last.
"Whatever you do, Dad will back you up." Mr. Juan patted him on the shoulder.
"Thanks Dad."
The support of his family was what made it most important for him to give them a peaceful life, and to those who would try to hurt the Leoz Group to hurt The Leoz Family, he would spare none of them.
...
Mr. Juan had just left when Alvaro walked in, approached his brother and said, "I heard everything you said to dad a moment ago."
Marcos looked at him, turned and walked behind his desk and sat down.
Alvaro approached him, "Brother, why do I get the impression that things are not as simple as you say?"
He said, staring at Marcos.
If it was only because the other party had meddled in the affairs of the Leoz Group, he couldn't have dragged himself out so far with the idea of fixing the other party. There had to be a reason for this that he didn't know.
"It's really not that simple." Marcos said weakly.
"I knew it." Alvaro suddenly felt too smart for his own good, and was quick to follow up with the question, "And what exactly is that for?"
"Esteban saw a brawl in the street today and threw up."
Marcos' voice was muffled, no emotion was audible, but it was Alvaro who listened and became uneasy. "And did Esteban do something? He seemed normal to me at dinner tonight." "The man is fine." Marcos' brow furrowed slightly, "But there are psychological problems."
Psychological problems?
Alvaro thought for a moment and asked uncertainly, "Are you saying Esteban is vomiting for psychological reasons?"
"Hmm." Marcos was silent for a few seconds, telling him what had happened at the last school.
"So, you suspect these things have to do with Cris?"
Alvaro asked shyly after hearing this.
"Suspicious no, but sure." At the mention of it, Marcos was much colder.
"Shit!" Alvaro recoiled angrily, "What kind of man is he? How dare he attack a child like that."
Marcos' eyes narrowed with a stern look, "I'll show them how stupid it is to antagonize the Leoz Group."
"Don't worry, brother, I'll take care of them one by one." Alvaro's heart broke and he got angry thinking about what had happened to Esteban these days.
Cris and the others were really inhuman!
In that case, don't blame him for being heartless!
...
Meanwhile, in a bar in the heart of J-town, the lights were fogged up, the heavy metal music was mind-blowing, and many men and women were moving to the music on the dance floor. On the second floor, in a VIP booth, sat a few men in suits.
"Chris, do you think this is a good place to talk about things?" Rawlins withdrew his gaze from the floor below and looked down at Chris, his eyes glittering with obvious displeasure. The noise of the place was giving him a headache, and his already irritable mood was even more so.
"Doesn't it fit right?" asked Chris without answering as he shot her a look.
"Of course it doesn't fit!" Rawlins dropped his glass hard on the glass table with a clinking sound and the others cringed.
Chris took a sip of his drink and asked slowly, "So where does Mr. Rawlins think he fits in?"
Rawlins took a deep breath. "I think we should find a quiet place and talk about how to deal with the Leoz Group, not here ...."
He looked down at the shifting figures below and raised a hand to rub his forehead. "I really can't be quiet here."
"I see you need a woman." Chris raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
The bartender waiting a short distance away heard the sound and hurried over, "What do you need for a few customers?" "Get me some pretty women to come drink with us." said Chris.
"Yeah."
The bartender turned and hurried away.
Rawlins couldn't help but laugh, a sarcastic chuckle, "Chris, is it this time of year and you still feel like having women drink with you?"
"Or what?" Chris spread his hands, "You want me to look as sad as I do?"
Rawlins said nothing.
Chris laughed softly and gave him a big pat on the shoulder, "Mr. Rawlins, relax, don't frown, you'll be scared when the women come to look at you later."
