Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1311: Dad, I Miss You So Much

This time, Earlene didn't chase after him or stop him.

She stood still, her face delicately made up, as grim as the ink at that moment.

It was evident that Mark had been affected by Pauline to the point of having changed.

The idea that he might regain his memory and return to Paulina.

His heart began to panic.

No.

She would never allow that to happen.

Earlene made a phone call and was quickly connected.

"I need a big dose of the medicine." She got straight to the point.

"Are you ... sure?" The other party was a little hesitant.

This type of medicine that made people lose their memory was not available on the market and was also banned.

It had an effect on the human body and could even cause a person to become insane if they were not careful.

That's why Earlene asked him for a large dose of the drug, so he wanted to check it out.

"I'm sure. Find a way to bring it to me in the next few days."

Earlene knew better than anyone how serious the side effects of the drug were, but she had no choice when it came to this. Even if Mark turned out to be insane, she would keep him by her side.

...

As she left the villa, someone immediately stepped up to stop Marcos.

"Get out of the way!"

Marcos shouted, his gaze flaring as he glared at the people in front of him, a stern aura emanating from his body. The two men holding him back instantly flinched and meekly stepped aside.

Marcos took them in stride.

The two men slowly came to their senses and looked at each other, why did they feel that Mr. Marcos had changed? Leaving the Bartram family, Marcos felt relieved.

He left the villa, hailed a car on the side of the road and headed straight for the Khan family's old house.

...

Paulina hung up the phone and let out a long sigh of relief, but the next moment her heart was in her mouth again. Earlene wouldn't have heard anything, would she?

If she found out that Mark was in contact with her, she'd take the phone away so she couldn't contact Mark again! I hope not.

Paulina prayed in her heart.

After about thirty minutes or so, Paulina was playing with Esteban and Sweety when Dulce suddenly burst into the room with a look of excitement. "Paulina, Marcos is back!"

Hearing that, Paulina got up from the floor and ran downstairs.

He was back!

Paulina's whole body was shaking and she stumbled over her feet as she fell forward.

"Look out!" Marcos got up in time to catch her.

Paulina's eyes instantly reddened at the familiar clean scent that hit her nose.

She opened her arms and wrapped them around his waist, burying her face in his arms and crying out loud.

Marcos was speechless, his hands frozen in the air.

Dulce came down the stairs with the two children in tow and watched the scene. Hold her."

Marcos laughed helplessly and held Paulina as he was told.

When Esteban and Sweety saw their daddy, their little faces lit up with smiles and they broke Dulce's grip and ran to him.

"Wait a minute!" Dulce hurried to catch them, "Let your mommy and daddy talk."

"Okay."

Esteban and Sweety looked at Marcos and Paulina and reluctantly walked with Dulce into the living room.

After a moment, Paulina looked up from Marcos' arms, her eyes resting on his well-defined jaw, she sniffled and asked, "I thought you said you'd be here tomorrow?"

Her voice was a little hoarse because she had been crying.

Mark looked down, saw her eyes red from crying and felt so distressed that he couldn't help but raise his hand to help her wipe away the tears hanging from her eyelashes, and said softly, "Silly, don't cry anymore. I'm not here?" His gentleness caused Paulina's tears, which had barely stopped, to break again.

She broke away from his embrace, raised her hand to wipe away the tears and curved her lips, "Yes, I won't cry anymore."

Mark smiled, "No tears is good."

Just then Sweety pounced on him and hugged his leg.

"Dad, I've missed you so much."

Mark lowered his head and gazed at Sweety's pitiful little face and his heart softened.

He knelt down and picked her up, and after two seconds of silence, he softly replied, "Daddy misses you too."

"Really?" asked Sweety in a milky voice, "Then why don't you come home to stay with us? Mom, brother and I miss you so much."

Stephen came over too and stood in front of him, red-eyed and looking up at him.

Marcos curved his lips and smiled at him.

Esteban clenched his small fists and fought back his tears.

Papa had said a man shouldn't shed tears.

So he couldn't cry, not in front of Papa.

Looking at Stephen's face as he held back the tears, Mark's heart sank and he suddenly felt that he had really gone too far.

Even if he had lost his memory, it didn't change the fact that he was their father.

He should have come to see them sooner.

"I'm sorry." said Marcos in a low voice.

Paulina shook her head, "Don't say you're sorry. The kids and I don't want you to feel guilty."

"Well, it's good to have Marcos back, so everyone be happy." Dulce couldn't help but say out loud.

At that, Paulina smiled, "Auntie is right, we all have to be happy."

Then she said to Esteban, "Honey, have you ridden some more models while your daddy was gone?" "Mmm." Esteban nodded.

"Then go and take them to your dad and show them to him."

"Okay." Esteban turned and ran upstairs.

Dulce yelled after her, "Slow down, be careful not to fall."

"Daddy, I learned a new dance in kindergarten, I'll teach it to you, okay?"

Sweety said without waiting for Paulina to say anything.

Marcos smiled and nodded, "Sure."

He said yes, but unconsciously looked at Paulina.

Paulina instantly understood what he meant, smiled and said, "Go to the living room."

After sitting down in the living room, Sweety walked over to them, lifted up her dress and curtsied, saying in a milky voice, "Mom and Dad, I'm going to dance for you!" Paulina hugged Mark's arm affectionately and leaned into him.

Marcos looked sideways at her and did not push her away, a glimpse of tenderness surfaced in his eyes.

Dulce danced like a little butterfly.

Esteban and Dulce approached with models in their arms.

"Dad, this is the model car I put together." Esteban placed the models he had assembled one by one on the table as if offering them as treasure.

"Brother, I haven't finished my dance yet!"

Sweety shouted in disgust at the interruption.

Esteban scratched his head, slightly embarrassed.

"Sweety, you danced very well, your dad and I saw it." Said Paulina.

"Dad, really?" Sweety looked at Marcos.

Marcos smiled and nodded, "Well, it was very good."

At Marcos' compliment, Sweety burst out laughing and jumped happily into his arms.

"Sweety loves daddy the most!"

Seeing this, Paulina couldn't help but feel a little tasty, "Sweety, mommy complimented you too, why don't you say you like mommy the best?".
