Chapter 1159 Extra Story 49 Of Charlie Wrangle

Elsa stared at Charlie's reply in a daze for a few seconds. Then she typed a reply and sent it to him quickly.

[Spouse] Sweet Dream: It's not like that. I was anxious about you.

[Spouse] Silent Sorrow: Then you should probably call me in a way which is pleasant to my ears, so that I will be comforted.

[Spouse] Sweet Dream: In what way?

[Spouse] Silent Sorrow: You know...Like husband, honey or darling, or something like that.

[Spouse] Sweet Dream: ...

Elsa was hesitant for a while, and Charlie didn't say anything more. It seemed like he was waiting for Elsa to call him in the way he expected. He was sort of different today. Previously, when Elsa had refused to call him in such a way, he had tried everything to make her do so, which was rather shameless.

Charlie was still talking to somebody on the phone. He minimized all the other channels except the Spouse channel. In the quiet chat frame, there was nothing but a series of suspension points from Elsa. He waited patiently.

"How is the response to the combination of servers?" Charlie asked in a business-like voice.

"Sir, the response hasn't been stable till now," the person in charge of Dragon in Flight Media replied, looking at the background data. "But the amount of prepaid money flowing from players' personal accounts reached an unprecedented peak today." "Hmm... The staff had suggested that twenty percent of earnings from this month should go to their performance bonuses," Charlie said in an indifferent tone.

The person on the other end couldn't reply right away. It was not until several seconds later that he said slowly, "Mr. Charlie Long, today's earning was more than two million. And the current tendency does not look like it's going to change anytime soon."

The players from the two servers were engaged in a fierce battle of words in World, which didn't seem like it would stop any moment soon. And as long as they wanted to express their opinions, they had to spend money. World wasn't a free forum after all. According to the staff prediction, the two servers would continue fighting till one side won. And in order to win the fight, the players had no other choice but to spend more money. If the staff really took twenty percent of the earnings out as their performance bonuses, that would be a large amount of money.

"Do what I say," Charlie said in a calm voice. "Everybody has worked really hard to prepare for the combining of the servers."

"Yes, sir," the person in charge replied. He could not help but admire Charlie's resolution.

There were about one hundred employees in the game department. With twenty percent of the earnings as their performance bonuses, each of them would receive more than triple their salaries this month. After Charlie hung up, the person in charge smiled with a sense of pride and admiration. Despite his young age, Charlie was as enterprising as the other men of the Long Family. While requiring his employees to be loyal to the company and to work hard, he also satisfied all their needs and was always true to his word. Nobody refused to work for him. They were all motivated to the wildest extent.

[Spouse] Sweet Dream: Husband...

As soon as Charlie hung up the phone, he saw the word "Husband" from Elsa. A smile of comfort played at the corners of his lips. He replied, "Hmm, that's so lovely, sweetheart."

Elsa blushed seeing his reply. Her face was as red as a ripe tomato. At the other end, Charlie was enormously satisfied with Elsa's response too. He opened all the other channels to see what was going on. Firstly, he sent a message in his group. [Group] Silent Sorrow: Guys! What are you all doing tomorrow?

[Group] Legendary Past: Hmph! I don't want to talk to you!

[Group] Silent Sorrow: Ah, that's unfortunate. I was thinking of going to the villa and cooking a meal for everyone. If you're not interested, then I'd better sleep in my dormitory. [Group] Legendary Past: ...

Finally, the argument ended with Evelyn losing the battle because she could not resist the temptation of home-cooked food, as always. After discussing with the group, it was decided that the members of Madness Is Good would gather for a party at the Long Family villa. Charlie would be cooking for them all.

When the decision was finally made, it was nearly eleven o'clock at night. Unlike other dormitories, electricity in the double accommodation dormitory could be used by the residents as they wished. Charlie sent a message to Elsa to remind her that he would pick her up outside her dormitory building the next day. Then he typed a message in World, where the players were still talking passionately about the battle.

[World] Silent Sorrow: Now that Dragon Yelling To The Sky and Dragon Leaping Over The Wind are combined, the one who wins the battle will be the true king. You can try to take Dragon City after ten days.

He didn't need to specifically say who "you" referred to. Everybody understood clearly that Silent Sorrow was talking to Obsession.

[World] Silent Sorrow: Let's call it a day. You'd better work hard on your skills. Any new ID under Lv.40 shall not be killed during the city taking battle, even if they are from the opponent side. If you don't abide by my rules, I will turn my back on you. Don't blame me later. [World] Wind Blowing Butt: Silent Sorrow, I support you.

[World] Puppet123: Silent Sorrow, my wife and I both support you.

The players expressed their support for Silent Sorrow one by one in World, which indicated that the former members of Dragon Yelling To The Sky would not take the lead to stir up any trouble. If the former members of Dragon Leaping Over The Wind did anything unnecessary, then they would automatically become Silent Sorrow's enemies. Silent Sorrow was a legendary existence in all the servers. Now that he had given such a warning, nobody would stir up any more trouble. If Obsession still planned to lead the members of Creepy Group to pick a fight, it only meant that he was brainless with absolutely no leadership skills.

The next ten days were a relatively peaceful period since the servers had been combined in Dragon. Some of the outsiders didn't log out from their secret accounts after witnessing the passionate battle in World in the combined server. They wanted to watch the city- capturing battle which was to take place in ten days.

On a day before the battle was to take place, Elsa asked Charlie out of curiosity, "Why are you not bothered by your defeat at the hands of Obsession?"

Charlie replied, "Winning or losing a fight doesn't matter. That's only a result to be shown to the other players. The real match result will only be known by the players who are in battle with each other. I don't want anybody trying to snatch my belongings from me. That will upset me more than losing battles. So, there is only one way to prevent him from taking what belongs to me I'll show him what a nightmare I can be."

Elsa didn't understand what he meant at all. She only mumbled, "You're a nightmare to me as well. I don't think about you, but you seem to be thinking of me all the time."000
