Love Began with the First Meeting -
Chapter 1156 Extra Story 46 Of Charlie Set Up A Trap
Charlie held in his hand the snacks and drink bought for Elsa and her roommates. He lowered his head slightly, and his heavy bangs covered his eyes. He was lost in thought seemingly and was so absorbed that he didn't notice Elsa standing at the door of the building. The dim light left a long shadow of Charlie's figure on the ground, giving the appearance that he was lonely.
Elsa came downstairs hurriedly and planned to grill him about the photos that the girls had mentioned. However, when she saw him standing there quietly, she forgot to react and stood still in a trance.
She always found that Charlie was the lively type, at least in front of her. To other people he was gentle, polite, cultivated like a noble, and he was good at studying and sports. He was an all-rounder.
However, according to Elsa's past experience, Charlie was mean and nasty. He often took great pleasure in teasing her. Elsa's memory and thoughts of Charlie were that of an unforgettable nightmare. The only thing that she had appreciated about him was that he was handsome.
For example, that kind of picture in Charlie's hands... It was a nightmare growing up with her, and she never wanted to relive those memories again.
Elsa finally remembered the reason why she came downstairs. With a determined look on her baby face, she rushed towards him. However, when she was three to five steps away from him, she became spiritless just like a deflating balloon and lost her nerve. Charlie raised his head slowly, and when he saw Elsa, a warm smile crept to his lips. Elsa's heart melted when she saw Charlie's beautiful eyes. They were so irresistible, and nobody could turn away from them. When you gazed into them, it was as if you had fallen into a pool of tranquility and they were so mesmerizing.
"You're here three minutes earlier than I expected." Charlie's smile was lethally attractive. He was good looking but not in the rough and tough way. He had a tenderness that made others feel comfortable around him, and he gave the impression that he was harmless. However, Charlie was anything but harmless.
Elsa went to him meekly, she felt like weeping but had no tears. She really wanted to be a tough lady and give him a piece of her mind, but when it came to the crunch, she didn't have the courage to do it. Facing Charlie, she was frustrated. Even when they were children, she felt inferior to him. Since she knew that he was a prominent role in the game, when she saw Charlie dressed in school uniform standing before her, his avatar, the famous Silent Sorrow, who dressed in white like a celestial being yielding a sword flashing blue lights also flashed in her mind. She had mixed feelings when facing him.
"Have you been thinking about how to address your husband?" Charlie said in a low voice with a cheeky smile.
"Who is thinking about how to call you, husband?" Elsa retorted automatically. When she saw the arrogant smirk on his face, she stepped forward and kicked him angrily in the shin. Then she snatched the bag from his hand and gave a little snort before turning on her heels and heading back to the building again.
When he saw her reaction, Charlie's smile only got bigger. He didn't feel the pain from the kick at all and called out. "Elsa, remember to practice how to call your hubby. I won't accept it if you just call me 'husband' online!"
Elsa stopped and turned back to him. She hollered, "I said, that's what I won't call..."
"Won't call me what?"
"-Husband!" Elsa blurted out.
"Hmm, good girl," Charlie said, feeling pleased with himself because he unwittingly got her to call him hubby. He wore a broad smile. "Go ahead, darling. Hurry upstairs back to your dorm."
Elsa had to use all of her will to resist the urge to throw the bag back in Charlie's smug face. She thought of her ungrateful roommates and how she wouldn't hear the end of their complaints if she did to make them have nothing to eat. "Hmph!" Elsa scoffed as she turned and stomped back upstairs with a loud sound, feeling enraged.
Charlie looked up and noticed Elsa's roommates waving to him from the dormitory window. He smiled faintly and then turned to go back to his dorm.
While Elsa was out getting the goods that Charlie bought for her, both Silent Sorrow and Sweet Dream had been killed off. They were lying dead on the ground side by side.
As she entered the room, the girls immediately surrounded her while Elsa shared the snacks among them all. Although the girls didn't know Charlie's background, they assumed that he was wealthy. It wasn't necessarily because he lived in a twin share room, although more affluent students were able to request a twin share. Charlie shared the room with another student of A University because they were both given special treatment from the university due to their academic abilities and not because Charlie was wealthy. "Elsa, what do Charlie's parents do?" Ann asked between mouthfuls. "A-magic's cake is expensive."
Ann's parents also engaged in business deals. She came from a middle-class family. Although it couldn't be said that they were wealthy, but they did live comfortably. So Ann was able to indulge in the occasional luxuries. A-magic was a catering center owned by the Dragon Empire Group and the food there was known to be very expensive.
"I don't know," Elsa replied, feeling depressed. Elsa really didn't know. Ever since childhood, Charlie was someone that she was reluctant to talk about, and let alone having an interest in investigating his identity and background. "But, he does seem to be well off. I have never known Charlie to be stingy with his money since we were much younger.
"I can see that." Anna nodded. To get the girls to help him out in pursuing Elsa, Charlie had spent a great deal of money on the girls. He bought, equipment for Olivia, perfume for Anna, and makeup for Ann, all of which cost a small fortune.
He even went to A-magic to buy midnight snacks. Such a man paid attention to the quality of life. Charlie was a modest guy with an imposing manner who didn't like to flaunt his wealth.
Anna was doing a major in finance and economics and hoped to become an analyst in the future. She liked to analyze everything that she did, and it had become an obsession.
All the girls were enjoying the snacks that Charlie had bought them and were chatting leisurely among themselves. Meanwhile, they were oblivious to the commotion that was happening in the Dragon, both in the game and BBS. Charlie had been sieged and killed by some Creepy Groupers when he AFKed to buy snacks for his girls.

Legendary Past set her announcement to run through the Speaker indefinitely, and this was enough to show the other players the wealth that she had. A Speaker announcement cost 2000 Ingots, equivalent to 200 in Gold. The reward of 100 Gold that she offered to kill just a member of the Creepy Group was ten dollars in real money, let alone killing an official, or the leader and his wife. 0000000
