Love Began with the First Meeting
Chapter 1012 Extra Story 150 Of Aaron Rebirth

Hearing her emotional words, Molly's vision started to blur because of the mist forming in her eyes. As she remembered that incident that had happened between them, she felt her heart swell. Then she asked in a meaningful tone, "When do you plan on taking the bracelet back from me?"

"Let's talk about that later. Just keep it with you for the time being," Ximena replied in a plain tone with a smile at the corners of her mouth. "I can't find any place else in the world which is safer for it than with you."

Molly rolled her eyes at her flattery. "Then I guess I should start charging a custodian fee," she said.

"Okay. You may regard the bracelet as the custodian fee," Ximena said, as if she didn't care about what happened to it at all.

"Wow," Molly smirked. "You're not sincere at all. I haven't accounted for what you did to me that time. Are you making use of me now? How could you give away the crystal from the jade seal of the Leng Family casually to whomever as a gift?"

"Ah..." Ximena sighed. It was difficult for her to explain all of it in just a few words. As she expected, Molly could do nothing but give up making a fuss about it with her. She chuckled and asked, "When will you come to QY Island again?"

"I will come back sooner or later," Molly replied. A smile appeared on her lips because QY Island was where Brian had actually confessed his love to her for the first time.

Seeing the expression on her face, Ximena was able to guess what she was thinking about. "After all, QY Island is of great significance to you."

"Yeah," Molly answered. "Its significance to me includes you too." She continued, "Ximena, you're my first friend in the word's true sense. I really hope I can witness your happiness when Brian and I come to QY Island next time."

Maybe she should not have said that to Ximena at such a moment, but if she didn't say it now, she was worried that she could never again make Ximena understand that to love somebody didn't only mean staying by his side, and what they needed was not the connection they develop between them via a child. Instead, to be married involved two people sharing their lives, their happiness and sorrows together from the moment they said their vows.

The wedding celebration lasted long, and it was finally dark outside. The countless stars in the black sky made up for a beautiful picture.

Leaning against the rocking chair in the Royal Garden, Ximena looked at the starry sky as the scenes that had happened earlier in the day played in her mind again and again. When she had seen everything that Brian had done for Molly, she had forgotten all about the hardships Molly had suffered to get where she was now. All her attention was on the final result, instead of the whole journey. "The snow that falls from the sky represents my love for you..." They had met each other for the first time on a snowy night. They had many joint memories related to snowy days. Today, Brian had created an artificial snowfall to celebrate their happy ending.

As she thought about all that, Ximena suddenly missed Aaron very much. She was not a hypocritical person. She always spoke her mind, and did what she had to do right away. She stretched her hand to grab her cellphone which was on the British style table next to the rocking chair. She was about to dial Aaron's number when the phone rang.

As soon as she saw the number and name on the screen, a wide smile appeared on her face in an instant. She picked the call. "I was about to call you," she said.

"You miss me, don't you?" Aaron asked. He was standing by the riverside, near the famous Santiago bridge, looking at the setting sun in front of him. A faint smile played at the corners of his mouth. Without waiting for Ximena's answer, he said, "I miss you." He had gotten used to seeing her every day. Each time he left her behind, he felt like something was missing in the air around him, which made it difficult for him to breathe.

"I miss you too," Ximena said, still leaning against the rocking chair and looking at the starry sky. "The sky in Dragon Island is so beautiful... It's so beautiful that I can't stop thinking about you."

Ximena's frank confession widened Aaron's bright smile. Ximena was a woman who dared to love and hate with a passion and she spoke her emotions freely. If she didn't express her love for him occasionally, he might, at some point, end up thinking that the family he had been eager for was farther and farther away from him.

"Is the issue there difficult to handle?" Ximena asked since Aaron didn't reply immediately.

It was not until he heard Ximena's question that Aaron came back to himself. "Not really," he answered. Despite its developed economy, QY Island was very short on mineral products, especially copper ore, because it was surrounded by sea on three sides. The copper ore which QY Island required had been supplied by Chile for long. However, they had cut down the quantity of the copper ore exported all of a sudden. "It might take a few more days for me to solve the problem here. Do you want to wait in Dragon Island till I can come pick you up, or...?"

"Concentrate on your business. You don't have to worry about me," Ximena answered. "I don't think it's proper for me to overstay here; it might bother the newly weds. I will go back to QY Island tomorrow. We have received more than a few big orders in the past few days. I have to go back and get to work as soon as possible.

"Hmm. That might be a good idea," Aaron answered. Realizing that Ximena showed her consideration for him subconsciously, Aaron felt a tinge of warmth in his heart.

She was sitting under the starry night sky, while he was standing by the riverside looking at the setting sun. Although the two of them were thousands of miles away from each other, they still felt connected.

After hanging up, Ximena went back to the bedroom. She took a bath and quickly went to bed.

She had a dream. In the dream, the multiflora rose was not able to escape its fate. Finally, she could do nothing but fade away day by day. The prince was depressed. He looked at the rose, which could never bloom for him again, and he wept in despair.

In the end, the rose died. The prince didn't want to leave the rose behind. He stayed by its side until he finally turned into soil himself and sank into the ground to be with the rose in death.

A teardrop spilled from her closed eye, and Ximena curled up her body slowly and frowned in her sleep. She felt like she was in an ice-cold world, where she would never see the sun again.

Teardrops fell onto the pillow, spreading all over. Even the stars in the sky seemed to have become darker. Ximena began sobbing slightly. She wanted to wake up, but she was stuck in the nightmare.

The morning rays of the sun passed through the clear window and sprinkled into the room. Ximena woke up with a tight frown. Her eyes hurt as a result of extreme dryness. Frowning again, she looked around her, as she slowly realized where she was. Then she got up and went to the bathroom to clean herself up.
