However, she lost that child due to her blood disorder. She remembered the piercing pain, and also Ivan's red, swollen eyes as he knelt by her hospital bed, trembling and pleading.
"Linda, as long as we're together, I can go without children forever. You have to stay strong-I truly can't lose you..."
His promise had once been her strongest support.
Back then, she believed they were each other's destined partners, meant to grow old together and stay by each other's side for life...
After a long silence, Linda slowly opened her eyes.
Ivan's location had stopped moving, and the destination-Cloud Private Dining.
It was a private, members-only restaurant owned by a mutual friend of theirs, where everyone
knew only their spouses were allowed.
A cold smile appeared at the corner of Linda's lips. "Ivan, bringing Katherine there-what exactly are you thinking?"
Suppressing the wave of emotions, she started her car.
Soon, she arrived at Cloud Private Dining.
With practiced familiarity, she headed straight to the private suite reserved for her and Ivan. Just as she stepped off the elevator, she heard a familiar name mentioned around the corner. "Martin, do you even know what you're doing?"
Linda recognized the voice as that of a mutual friend of hers and Ivan's.
"You even said in interviews that The Gods wouldn't have achieved global success without Linda's
contribution. She was the top beauty and scholar of NYU's Computer Science Department, and yet she's now worn out to the point of needing to rest at home for you."
"Katherine's just a streamer; fooling around is one thing, but bringing her here-aren't you afraid Linda will find out about the two of you and divorce you?"
"She won't. Linda trusts me."

dyan's answer was light, confident.
Look at him, Linda thought. How arrogantly confident he was, so sure that she would never leave
him.
That was all she needed to hear, and Linda turned away, expressionless.
She was curious now to see what expression Ivan would have when she left him for good.
As expected, Ivan didn't come home that night.
In the study, Linda opened her laptop.
Since she had decided to leave, she wouldn't allow anything tied to her to remain.
The first thing she planned to destroy was the game everyone was curious about-the love confession game Ivan had once made for her: For Ever and Ever.
If he had a new love, he didn't need to keep relics of the old one lying around to disgust her.
Finding the program, she accessed the delete function, and a prompt appeared-
"Permanently delete the game?"
Linda's hand paused, and she suddenly felt a bit dazed.
She seemed to see that young man once more, his heart full of her, with such genuine, fervent love!
A pang of regret filled her heart as she dialed Ivan's number.
The phone rang several times before he finally picked up.
Slightly breathless, Ivan answered, "Linda, I got caught up with work tonight and forgot to check in. I ordered a gift package for you during the day, so it'll be there when you wake up. Get some rest, and don't worry about me." Linda's gaze was icy, but her voice remained gentle. "Alright."
The next second, she hung up, and without hesitation, clicked the delete button.
Ivan, since you've chosen to betray me, don't blame me for taking everything back. Losing to My Substitute
