Sharon looked ethereal today.

Eschewing her usual heavy makeup, she opted for a more minimal approach, highlighting her flawless complexion. She was dressed in an off-shoulder gown of pristine white, the bodice of which boasted a sof feather detail that added an air of grace to her attire

With every step she took, it seemed as though she brought a breeze with her, the gown lightly billowing around her, soft and delicate.

The design was simple, yet she looked like a fairy untouched by the world's troubles.

Sharon walked onto the stage, under everyone's gaze. She stood there, so endearing, so beautiful it left one speechless.

At this point, the host announced, "Now, let's invite our special guest, Mr. Jared, CEO of the Tim Group, to present the award to Miss Sharon."

Applause erupted as Jared took the stage to present the award. Agnes was also looking at Jared.

Jared, in his formal suit, exuded a calm and mature aura as he stepped on stage.

His looks and temperament were not inferior to any top star in the entertainment industry.

He attracted attention wherever he was. His face was so captivating that it was almost impossible to look away.

Jared handed the trophy to Sharon amidst thunderous applause.

But in the midst of the applause, Agnes heard some whispering gossip.

"Isn't Jared Sharon's sugar daddy? How ironic that he's the one presenting the award? Won't people think he's the one who made her a star?"

"Sharon's acting skills are good, but among the nominees, each one is a formidable contender. Why did she win? Even Mamie didn't win. There must be some fishy business going on."

"Well, she managed to snag Jared, even making him call off his engagement. I guess marrying into a wealthy family isn't impossible for her."

Upon overhearing the chatter, unease crept into Agnes' heart. As it turned out, she did care, much more than she cared to admit. Because even though Jared said he saw Sharon as a sister, he never told her why, and that bothered Agnes.

What had happened in the past four years? Agnes couldn't help but wonder.

Before she knew it, Yolanda had already walked to her.

Seeing Agnes frowning, she asked, "Feeling upset? Didn't expect Sharon to win, huh? But you shouldn't feel upset. After all, Sharon has been by Jared's side for three years. Even if she didn't contribute much, she put in effort. Who knows, Jared might actually have a place for her in his heart."

Agnes knew Yolanda was trying to provoke her, so she said nonchalantly, "Director, why are you telling me all this? I'm not interested in other people's private lives."

Yolanda chuckled, thinking, "Still pretending? Can't Agnes see what's happening? Even if Jared has some involvement with Agnes, he's clearly playing two fields."

Knowing that Agnes was upset made Yolanda feel very pleased. The real upset, however, was yet to come.

Yolanda dropped a folder and said, "This is the interview script of the Best Actress. Our station got the first exclusive interview. This is a big deal. Don't mess it up because of your personal feelings." Agnes responded, "Don't worry, Director, I won't."

"Sharon will be there in twenty minutes in Lounge 1. You should go and prepare now."

"Alright, Director." Agnes stood up, took the script, and headed to the lounge. As she walked, she read through the interview questions.

She frowned as she read.
