But it only showed just how impressive Flora from their family was. Nash and Ms. Ashley were absolutely floored. Fiona, a girl from the countryside, speaking Spanish with a sophisticated royal accent? It was mind-boggling.

"Just average, like third in the world," Fiona quipped, her eyes full of playful confidence as she glanced at Louise. Trying to outdo her? Sorry, but not many could match up. She just happened to have a basic grasp of over a dozen languages. Louise could clearly see the teasing in her gaze, feeling her cheeks burn with embarrassment. Her English skills were nothing to brag about in front of Fiona.

Luckily, the food arrived soon. Louise picked up her fork and started eating, trying to maintain her composure. But as soon as she took a bite of the steak, she stopped short. Her face twisted in disgust, and she spat it out, which was hardly a graceful move. Everyone kept glancing her way.

"Louise, what's going on?" Nash asked, raising an eyebrow.

"The taste..." Louise grimaced, feeling like she'd just swallowed something foul: "It's so weird, so gross..."

"Ms. Kaylee sure has a picky taste," Ms. Ashley chuckled. "The Golden Hotel's food is top-tier in Cedarvale. I've never heard anyone complain about it."

Louise's face was flushed with embarrassment. She knew spitting out food was bad manners. Gritting her teeth, she tried again, picking up a piece of fish with her fork.

"Ugh="

A stronger, more repulsive odor hit her, and she couldn't hold back, spitting it out again. Not just the fish, but everything else she'd eaten came out too. Ms. Ashley and the others looked visibly upset.

What was Louise trying to say? That the food was terrible, or that eating with them was unbearable? Ms. Ashley's expression turned icy as she placed her fork down with a clatter.

"I'm... I'm sorry... I need to go to the bathroom..." Louise was on the verge of tears. She couldn't figure out why she kept throwing up in front of everyone. It was humiliating, and she couldn't bear it any longer. Covering her face, she hurried out.

The private room was a mess, and they couldn't stay there anymore. The manager had the staff clean up thoroughly and moved them to a new room with fresh dishes. While the staff were tidying up, they passed by Fiona, who caught a whiff of something strange. It was faint but noticeable, coming from Louise's fork.

Fiona raised an eyebrow, amused, and shot a look at the manager. He winked back as if to say, "Did I do a good job, Miss? Praise me!" The manager had pulled a trick on

on it. Whenever she used it, she'd taste a vile, sewage-like flavor, almost like eating something unspeakable. That explained her behavior.

Fiona clicked her tongue in mild disapproval. Standing up, she told Ms. Ashley, "Sis, I'm heading to the restroom." "Go ahead," Ms. Ashley nodded with a smile. "Let one of the staff show you the way, so you don't get lost."

Fiona nodded and walked out of the private room, making her way down the long corridor before stopping at a corner.
