Chapter 951 I Really Want You to Go

Chapter 951 I Really Want You to Go

The next morning, Evelyn finished dressing up and prepared to go to the flower shop. Over the past half a year, the business at the flower shop had been thriving. In the recent month, there had been occasional inquiries about franchise opportunities. As she had never dealt with this aspect before, she consulted an experienced store operator. Every day, there were numerous matters to be finalized. "Help me choose a suit." Seeing that she was considering what to wear in the cloakroom, Huston, who had taken a shower, walked in with a bath towel around him.

Evelyn blinked. "A suit? Do you have something to do today?"

She remembered that Huston had recently been wearing casual clothes at home and had not worn formal clothes for a long time.

"I'll go to the HM Law Office to see Matt." Huston opened the wardrobe, glanced at the rows of limited edition clothing, and finally stopped at a dark gray suit. "What do you think of this one?" Evelyn widened her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck in surprise. "You're going to the law firm?"

Huston sighed and looked at her flushed face due to excitement. "Didn't you ask me to go?"

"Yes." Evelyn nodded hurriedly. She was really happy for him to make this decision. "I just didn't expect you to go there so soon."

Hearing this, Huston raised his eyebrows. "You don't want me to go?"

"No! I really want you to go!"

Looking at her smiling face, Huston rarely saw her so happy in such a long time. Even his mood improved. He lowered his head and kissed her hard on the lips. "So help me choose a dress."

Evelyn let go of her hand and turned to the wardrobe to choose carefully. The cloakroom was very big, and two cabinets on both sides of the wall were almost as tall as the wall. One was hers, and the other was his. Their clothes looked particularly intimate when they were next to each other.

Evelyn glanced at the outfit that Huston had just chosen and rejected it. "This color is too dark. If you wear it on the first day, it might create a sense of distance..."

Evelyn looked back and forth several times, finally making up her mind. She chose a set of dark blue suits with a subtle check pattern. The color was not too bright nor dull, belonging to the grey range. It was elegant yet not too rigid.

She took out a white shirt and a thin, light grey wool tie. She compared them to Huston's figure and found them a perfect fit. "This set will do," she said.

Huston took it and had no objections to her choice. He immediately put it on.

As Evelyn watched him adjust his cuffs, memories of when they first met flooded her mind, causing her heart to beat faster. Huston lifted his gaze and met her affectionate gaze, momentarily taken aback. He paused and handed her the tie he held, saying, "Help me with this."

Evelyn walked up to him obediently and took the narrow ribbon from his hand. He was so tall that the distance between them was too big. She had to stand on tiptoe to reach him.

She wrapped the tie around the back of his neck with some difficulty. Raising her small hands, she carefully tied a beautiful tie for him and picked out a tie clip from the cabinet to put it on for him.

In the end, she nodded with satisfaction. "Perfect!"

Huston looked at himself in the mirror. The dark blue suit gave off a noble aura. He was not a person who liked to show his emotions. Most of the time, his expression was too serious, making him look distant and cold. However, this color made him look a little younger.

"That's great."

"Of course. When has my judgment ever been wrong?" Evelyn proudly tilted her head back, then turned around to choose her own clothes. Originally, she had planned to dress casually today, but after helping Huston with his selection, she couldn't resist the urge to coordinate a set in the same color scheme.
