Huston led her to the entrance of the hospital. The person who delivered the food was standing outside, holding a dark thermos in his hand and six lunch boxes piled up. He took it, thanked her, and walked back. Evelyn reached out to help him get one, but the man avoided her. "No, I'll do it myself."

"Is it heavy?"

"These things are not as heavy as my recovery tools."

Evelyn knew that he cared about his reputation, especially at a time like this. She did not insist on getting it and let him do as he pleased.

It was lunchtime, and there were many people in the hall waiting to enter the elevator. The two of them swiped the card and entered the VIP section.

The door was closed. Before she could catch her breath, the man leaned over and kissed her again.

Evelyn shrank back until her head was pressed against the elevator wall behind her. "Huston, what are you doing?"

What was he doing?

The man raised his eyebrows. "I'll be intimate with you every minute."

"..." Evelyn didn't expect him to say that. She blinked and said, "We're in the hospital. Don't make trouble."
