Evelyn withdrew from the stretcher on the car and was directly pushed into the soundproof observation room outside the interrogation room. She couldn't sit or lie down, so she could only lie on her stomach. The height of the mobile medical bed could be adjusted so that she wouldn't feel uncomfortable.

Kevin kept an eye on her and said, "If you don't feel well there, you must tell me."

He pulled out the chair in front of the table and sat down. Behind him stood two police officers who were in charge of monitoring his actions. Huston did not care and waited expressionlessly for the arrival of the other party.

Not long after, the other door of the room opened. Before anyone could see it, they heard a clattering sound. It was the sound of a heavy foot lace rubbing against the ground.

Half a minute later, a familiar face appeared in his sight. He was wearing a grayish-blue prison uniform. His long sleeves and trousers were not very fit, and there was a heavy chain around his wrists. The chain was not long, and he had to walk in small steps.

Hawk's hair was long and has not been fixed for half a month. At this time, it was a mess over his head and face. He looked like a down-and-out prisoner, but when he saw him, the man showed a strange smile.

"We meet again."

His greeting tone was very relaxed. If it weren't for the wrong time and place, people would even think that they were old friends.

Huston's cold gaze landed on the face that he wished he could chew to pieces. "You've applied time and time again just to see me."

"Yes." Hawk raised his hand and spread it helplessly. The chain made an ear-piercing sound again. "I want to see you, but these rigid policemen are unwilling."
