Chapter 1010 I Hate It When People Make Decisions for Me

Mark was soon soaked in a cold sweat. It was not until Hawk loosened his grip that he breathed a sigh of relief and gasped for breath. "Hawk, you shot me for a woman!"

He shouted in a low voice, like an injured beast howling, so that everyone could hear him.

Compared to the other anger, Hawk was much calmer. There was even an evil smile on his face as he looked at him wantonly. "Are you feeling wronged?"

Mark did not speak. His eyes were fixed on him.

Only God knew how much he wanted to rush in and kill that bitch now!

"You're not wronged, Mark."

When the man's voice fell, Mark suddenly froze. He changed his posture, laid flat on the ground, and stuck his right hand with his left hand to prevent some blood from flowing out.

"Hawk, you've changed." Thinking of his recent abnormal behavior, Mark suddenly laughed crazily. "Hahaha, you've fallen in love with that woman, haven't you? You don't want to kill her, and even hurt my hand to save her!"

Hawk was not irritated by his words. The more arrogant his expression was, the calmer his heart was.

He stood up and took a few steps along the river. His gaze swept across the surroundings and he understood what was going on. "Mark, you deliberately reduced the manpower and created the disadvantage of lax supervision to lure her to escape. It's all so that you can kill her tonight."

His words caused a sensation. The body of the man who had been shot dead was still on the ground. The hair on the body of the man who was in charge of the night watch with him stood on end when he heard that. He looked at Mark in surprise.

Mark was so angry that his expression froze on his face. He gradually became numb, as if he didn't expect to be discovered so soon. His mood suddenly calmed down a lot. "She is a scourge. She must die." Hawk turned around and asked the man who had been with him for countless days and nights. He was also his confidant. " Mark, do you know what I hate the most?"

"Betrayal."

"No." He shook his head and looked down at the person lying at his feet. "I hate it when people make decisions for me."

Mark blinked and tightened his grip on his left arm. A few seconds later, his strength was suddenly drained. "I just can't stand you acting like this. We should stop. Are you sure you can continue? Hawk, I've never doubted you, but this time, I'm worried."

He felt a growing unease in his heart as he thought about the series of events that had occurred recently. Living such a dangerous life, sometimes he felt more sensitive than ordinary people. "But since you know my intention, I have nothing to say. I don't regret it. It's a pity that I didn't kill that bitch."

Hawk didn't say anything. His eyes fell on the dark ground behind Mark. That place had been dyed with dark red blood. If there was more blood, his arm would probably die.

He would never let go of any subordinate who went against him, but he had never made up his mind to be cruel to Mark.

The night wind blew over the riverside. At the end of it, he said solemnly, "Just this time. Next time, I'll kill you with my own hands."
