For someone who had positively assured Skylar that he would catch up with his sleep, she figured that Tobias had no more than four hours of rest last night. How does this man even manage to hold it together?

Later that day, Skylar had been informed by Kate that her visa had been approved, and preparations from the production team were complete. Filming would commence, starting with the segment that revolved around the reception of the invitation letter.

The setting would be at the office.

Although representatives from the production team would only be expected to come by in the afternoon, Skylar headed into the office early because her hairstylist, Raul Haim, was already there waiting in the dressing room.

Skylar heard that the fees this hairstylist charged were astronomical, and whoever wanted to call on his services should expect to pay upward of two hundred thousand.

When she first heard it, she was under the impression that that must be some kind of gross exaggeration. Who's going to pay that kind of crazy money for one haircut?

Later on, she came to the understanding that she had been too naïve and knew nothing about the spending power of the uber-rich, for there was actually a lengthy waiting list for those looking to hire Raul to style their hair, in spite of the cost.

This time, Raul was coming in to work with her expressly on the account of Royal Entertainment, which was in turn backed by Ford Group itself.

While Skylar sat in front of the vanity mirror, she realized that her face was now even puffier than it was yesterday. It must have been due to something I had this morning.

In her own esteem, there was no way she could have passed herself off as any wealthy heiress, ever.

"The only thing you lack is an appearance of flourishing and a bit of luck, so here, we are going to use a makeover to really bring out all that lovely kittenishness and vampishness from within you."

Skylar had to admit that luck had not really been on her side. Recently, things had not exactly been smooth sailing for her, while the wave of popularity she rode on with "Empyrean Sword" was fast drying up. Downward trending, coupled with a lack of controversy, and a dearth of good projects to follow up with meant that her level of exposure had also become diminished of late.

She figured that if she did not make appearances in reality shows, she would surely be left high and dry by newcomers within half a year's time.

Raul brought out his gold-colored hair scissors and sought Skylar's input. "Your long hair has been your signature look, but after a while, people will get tired of seeing it. I'd say that change must begin from the top down. Would you be comfortable with wearing your hair shorter? You'd come across as being more youthful and be absolutely smashing in it. When others lay their eyes on you, they're going to find you so delectably adorable that it'll be like them falling in love with you for the first time all over."

Skylar had worn her hair long for a considerable amount of time. For a woman to be asked to have it cut short out of the blue could be an extremely traumatic affair for her, unless, it was something that she wanted for herself.

"I think we'd better not as I'd probably not look very nice with it," she replied reluctantly.

Having his sense of aesthetics subject to questioning led Raul to embark on his brainwashing of Skylar. He cited several examples of stars in the industry who went with a short do before he finally dropped the most exemplary instance of all.

"I'm sure you know about Saorise Sheahan, who is the exclusive brand ambassador for Ford Group's commercial plaza. That barrage of persuasion got Skylar's head in a spin, and she ultimately consented to Raul's recommendation between gritted teeth.

Skylar's heart wrenched while she watched her own flowing locks untether and drift to the floor. She slammed her eyes shut as she was unwilling to continue watching the process.

By the time Raul had her check herself in the mirror, her hair only reached down to her nape. But even she herself felt reinvigorated by her new look, just as Raul described.

Incredibly proud of his own creation, Raul confidently declared, "This, is perfection personified. With your natural attributes to complement this puppy love style, it is the very embodiment of hotness."
