12 years Later

” Sandwich or Lasagne?”

” Anything”

” Oh come on Than! Choose one. What do you want to eat?”

” I said anything !!”

” Anything is not an answer! Tell me or later you will say I didn’t made your favourite and starved you !”

And that’s when Thaneos sighs, turning around to look at Alexandria , who had her hands placed on her waist.

And he suddenly forgot what he wanted to say.

She looked so damn beautiful.

The dress she wore was black, highlighting her grey eyes more. Hugging her curves perfectly. The neckline plunging a little deep showing her cleavage. Yet it was elegant. Floor length with a thigh slit. Leaving a lot to imagination.

” What will you like to have Than?”

She asks irritated now, finally getting his attention.Raising her brows,while biting her l*p.

And Thaneos curses as his eyes flicker to her lips instead.

” Fuc* little Dove. “

” Are you an option?”

He says moving closer to her while removing his Tuxedo and Alexandria’s eyes widen.

Her steps moving back.

” Than no”

” Oh no it’s a yes”

” No”

” Fuc* yes!”

They argue like kids as Than steps forward and Alexandria steps back.

Gulping.

” We are getting late Than. You should eat and we sh-ould get going”

” Not so fast little dove”

” But it’s a 2 hour drive. Plus there will be traffic. How will we reach on time?”

” I don’t care “

” But everyone is waiting Than!”

” Let them”

He says casually. Not caring about anything.

And her back touches the wall. And he invades her personal space. Pinning her by placing his hands on her either side.

And she gulps looking into his darkening eyes.

They trail lower to her cleavage. Making his fists to clench.

What was it? Didn’t he like her dress? He suddenly looked serious.

” Is-is it too much? I can change if you don’t like it.”

He brings his eyes back to her. That intense look remaining. Trailing his fingers up to caress her cheek.

He whispers, moving closer to her.

” There is nothing that won’t look good on you my little dove”

His breath hits her neck as she feels his fingers trailing lower to tug on her dress straps.

Placing a tender k**s near her lips. He looks deeply into her eyes.

Teasing her.

” I would like you better without it”

Her breathing turns rugged as he successfully pulls down her dress effortlessly. To only move his fingers lower.

A m**n leaving her lips as he slowly trails his fingers lower to crouch down.

” Th-an”

” Yes Little Dove”

” Umm we are really getting la-te. We.. should stop right here.”

She warns knowing the fire he has started is not going to quench that easily.

While he barely hmms.

Caressing her waist. To only caress her belly bump. His nose sliding lower, feeling that curve in which the token of their love was nourishing.

Their child.

Pressing a tender k**s on her naval. He smiles . Hearing that little heart which has just learnt to beat.

” Your mommy wants papa to stop my little munchkin.”

“Do you?”

He asks. Moving his hands lower to place his palms on her stomach. When suddenly Alexandria shrieks in happiness.

” Oh my god! The baby just kicked Than! Here…I felt it here!”

Holding his wrists. She directs his palms to the place where she felt it and there it was.

The child kicks again.

And Than couldn’t help chuckle. Looking up at Alexandria.

” I guess even our little munchkin wants papa to continue”

And that’s when , he moves his arms under her bottoms. Picking her up effortlessly. To Make her shout at him in disbelief.

” Than!”

Ignoring her. He lands his lips on her.

Shutting her up.

To lay her on the bed. Pinning her hands above her head. To move back and just stare at her.

A deep blush rushing up her cheeks.

” You are being reckless Thaneos”

She says, clenching his shirt collar tightly. Avoiding his eyes.

” Oh ,I never said I was a gentleman sweetheart.”

He smirks, moving his face lower to k**s her neck and she couldn’t help, press herself more closer to him.

” What about we skip the function ?”

He suggests. Kissing along her jaw. To have her place her palms on his shoulder stopping him.

Trying yet once again.

” Dad will be waiting Than! Plus it’s Silas’s special day!How can we miss it?”

And Than just rolls his eyes.

” That boy! He always has to get between everything I swear. I am glad he found his second chance or -“

And Alexandria chuckles seeing him getting jealous yet again. Pulling his collar teasingly. She places her arms behind his neck.

” You know you look hot when you are jealous.”

And Than tightens his grip on her waist. Pulling her flush against him. A smirk placed on his lips.

” Oh come on little dove. There is nothing to be jealous about.”

” I always knew you will choose me over him anytime.”

” Oh really?”

Alexandria asks teasingly

” If I remember correctly, you forcefully took me. Kept me locked away. Didn’t even ask me if I was fine. Didn’t even speak to me for days. And even made Silas forget me.”

“While the old Silas has always been so nice to me. He was so caring-“

He didn’t let her complete. That smirk on his face dropping to make something similar to dispair appear on his face. As he places his palms on her lips , silencing her.

” I…am. I am really sorry for everything little dove. I did so wrong and I never apologised for it.”

” When you say it like this? I can’t help remember and hate myself for it.”

” I just wanted you. And I was ready to do anything for it.”

” Hell I knew I didn’t deserve you…but I really don’t know how I got so lucky”

He refused to meet her eyes. Lowering his hand from her palm and moving back. Turning around to leave.

When Alexandria holds his wrist. Stopping him.

Making him look back at her in surprise.

And she couldn’t keep it in anymore. She bursts out laughing. And Thaneos looks at her in confusion.

” You may be the strongest wolf in the world Than. But you suc* at expressing your emotions. You know that?”

He bites his l*p. Not agreeing any less with her. She was right, she knew him too well.

His eyes lowering to stare at her grip on his wrist.

And Alexandria couldn’t do it anymore. She can’t see him believe her words when she was just teasing.

That sadness and self doubt in his eyes.

Was piercing her heart.

Before he knows, she turns the table to pull him back on her. Making him to literally fall on her when he stops his weight from crashing on her by placing his palms beside her on the bed.

” Little dove!”

He exclaims in disbelief. Looking at her in surprise. To have her hold his face in her palms.

Caressing his cheek.

” You are the best thing that happened to me Thaneos. Don’t you for once doubt it”

She says , laying her heart open for him. And he couldn’t help. Place a rogue flick behind her ear.

” And you are my everything my little dove. I am nothing without out.”

Placing their foreheads against each other. They breathe unevenly. A small smile on her lips as his fingers trail lower to run circles on her waist.

” So you were teasing huh? “

” Who said only you can tease”

She counters. A mischievous smile on her lips.

And he looks at her lips again. Speaking in a husky voice.

“Bad girls get punished Little Dove. How I am gonna love punishing you”

Her eyes widening at his words, as he moves his face closer to k**s her.

Their breaths mingling. Ready to land.

When suddenly a loud bang on the door, makes it open up wide open.

To only have a small chirpy voice to speak up .

” Momma! Where is my bow? How will I impress Rose like this?”

” Fuc*!”

Alexandria curses, pushing Thaneos back. To have him literally fall down from the bed.

His a*s kissing the floor as he rubs it ,looking at the Alexandria in disbelief.

Who just mouths him a sorry, diverting her attention to the little boy in the big threshold.

Rubbing her neck in awkwardness.

” Hades baby!”

The boy rushes forward. Chucking when he looks at Thaneos on the floor.

” Oh dad! Hi! What are you doing on the floor. Anyways? Tell me, his do I look?”

The boy of mere 9 says, twirling around. Showing his tuxedo and pants. And Than just chuckles, looking up at Alexandria.

” Tuxedo for a kid. Like seriously?”

” Oh Dad! When will you understand fashion sense. And what are you wearing?”

” Just plain white shirt and pants are too boring. Come I think we both should do a twinning.”

The boy says, holding Thaneos big hands , trying to pull him up with all his strength.

And Than sighs. Getting up. Seeing the kid opening his wardrobe.

Ordering him around.

” Pick me up Dad! I can’t see!”

Rolling his eyes, Than picks him up to place his on his shoulder effortlessly. Placing his legs on his either shoulder.

” That one!”

” This?”

” No! The Red one!”

” Hell I am not wearing Red! It looks to tacky!

” Okay. Okay. There. The blue one?”

” Hmm this is better”

” I told you! This will look good!

Thaneos says admiring the velvet royal blue tuxedo.While hi fiving little Hades.

And Alexandria couldn’t help state at them and smile to herself.

How perfect it felt. Who would have thought, she will have a happy family like this.

She has everything in life.

Except for one missing thing.

Looking down at her belly and smiling. She caresses it. Wondering how their little one will look like?

Hades was a replica of hers. With grey eyes and black hair.

And she wondered if she will resemble him?

Her father.

With those black eyes and God like features.

She could already imagine, her daughter to be a heartbreaker

Chuckling to herself. She looks out of the window, at the rising moon.

Whispering.

” We are waiting for you my little Angel”

“Come soon”

If only she knew, the little child in her womb was not only going to resemble Thaneos in physical appearance. But she will also be a carrier of one of the most recessive and rare gene in the world.

She will not be like Hades,her brother. She will not be like her friends. Like others around her.

She will be different.

She will be unique.

The circle of life and death in never ending.

A loop of infinity.

And she was just going to be the next thread in it. The next warrior. The next b***d of light and darkness.

She will be the reincarnation of death.

But the even bigger question was, what will be the cost of it?

Who will pay for it?

Was it a really a happy ending?

Or another storm was at its rise again.
