Silas pov

I continue to devour her lips, like a forbidden fruit. Deepening it to make her regret the words she dared to speak just now .

But she lays still, not struggling. Simply giving in. Even surprising me.

I didn’t waste the opportunity. Sliding in my hands from her waist, I continue to rub circles. To only have her arch her back and press herself more closer to me.

Fuc*! It felt so good!

I k**s her with more passion this time, ready to show her new heights when I feel a strong push on my chest. To be followed by a sharp sting on my cheek.

Making me go still, staggering back.

“What the fuc*! How dare you!”

She screams at me and I look at her in shock. Too numb to do or say anything.

Did she just slap me?

“Litt-“

“No! Don’t! Just get out dammit! I for a second thought you were different,I thought-“

Tears streamed down her eyes as she bites her l*p. To look outside the window. Ignoring me.

“Just get out and don’t show me your face! I hate you! I hate you dammit!”

“But Alexan-“

“Didn’t you hear me Silas! I said leave! Now!”

She screams on top of her lungs. Making something to prick my chest. I felt hurt by her rejection.

I never felt like this before. Is this how much she disgusts seeing me?

I step back from her.

Fine. If she wants this. I won’t bother showing her my face again.

Clenching my fist,I nod at her to look at her one last time.

Seeing those beautiful grey eyes fixed outside the window.

To finally leave.

Few days later-

“Are you sure?”

“Yes.It has started. I thought there was time-“

The person stops talking to only see Silas enter. His eyes set at the messenger he hasn’t seen in a while. Making a smile to come on his lips.

“If it isn’t my precious!”

“Silas! “

“Elora!”

They hug each other, like long lost friends. Beaming in happiness.

“No really precious. After how long are you coming? Don’t you miss me?”

Elora simply chuckles. Making him sit along.

“I do miss. But what to do Silas. Pack duties?”

Jason looks at their union. To only smile. It’s been years since they last met.

Elora has been busy in the search.

“Wait! Uncle just told me you found your mate! Congratulations man! When can I meet her?”

Silas’s smile drops. As he looks down at the table. Making Elora to look at him in worry.

“Silas? What happened?”

“Nothing precious. I will make you guys meet soon.”

Elora just stares to nod. She could easily see behind the veils, but decides not to question him.

It seemed to be a sensitive topic.

Silas looks at Jason ,to flicker his eyes back to Elora.

“Anyways. You tell. Why this un announced visit. Is everything fine?”

Jason and Elora exchange a look. To only have Jason to nod, sighing and sitting back.

“I again got a vision Silas”

Silence follows. To only make Elora to hold Silas’s hand.

“The death wolf is coming back Silas. It’s finally time.”

Horror covers Silas’s features. As Elora continues.

“I saw b***d coating our grounds like river of b***d flowing through land, dead bodies piling around and ….”

“A deadly silence follows…..silence that resembled death.With those dark clouds emerging.”

“My vision stopped at those b***d red eyes looking at me amongst that chaos.”

“The wolf was triple the normal size, as big I have ever seen with jet black fur and b***d red eyes…”

“First I thought it was just a dream..but then just yesterday we got the news of killings in the mysterious forest.”

“It happening Silas. It’s finally here.”

“The rise that we have already dreaded.”

Fear was evident in everyone’s eyes. But they knew they couldn’t just wait for the inevitable. They had to do this.

“There has to be something Elora! Some solution… anything?”

Elora nods, straightening up to look out of the window. Her hands clenched behind her back.

“We have to find the heir of werewolves at any cost in order to stop the death wolf.”

“But the hunter refuses.”

Jason says interrupting. To have Elora to nod.

“I know. Maybe if I try, Daniel would tell.”

Everyone nods. To only have Jason to sigh.

“That’s our last resort now. Or I can’t even imagine what’s going to happen.”

Nodding, Elora leaves towards the dungeons. To meet the leader of hunters after so many years.

It’s definitely going to be interesting.

Silas’s pov

I was in my office,staring at the recent attack pictures. Lost in thoughts. Elora was right, there two dead bodies found in the forest?

Were not a normal rogue killings, the brutality with which they are killed.

Shows it was someone else.

Someone way powerful.

“Alpha!”

I look up from the photos, to see the pack help standing there. With head lowered.

“Yes. What’s it?”

“I am afraid Sir, Luna refuses to eat the food we offer. She demands to meet you.”

I barely nod. Dismissing her. To only sigh and lean my head back on the chair.

Running my hand through my hair.

It’s been almost a week since I last saw her. Or rather since she slapped me and asked me not to show her my face.

I didn’t. Untill now.

Sleeping in the guestrooms the entire week

Getting up, I pick up my jacket. Excited to see her. When I knew she is not calling me because she is missing me but because she wants something from me.

Opening her room I enter.

To find her sitting near the window. Lost in thoughts.

As soon as she hears the click, her grey eyes turn to stop at me.

I don’t greet , neither did she.

Placing my hands in my pockets I sit on the sofa beside her. Her fragrance hitting me ,to make me hold my breath. It’s highlighted because of the heat. It was approaching.

“Why aren’t you eating? “

I ask, seeing her thin frame in my oversized shirt She has definitely lost weight.

“I don’t want to”

She barely says, making me take in a deep breath. The girl is so damn stubborn.

“You have to eat Alexandria. There is no excuse for it!”

Trying to calm myself. I get up to turn my back on her. To finally ask.

“Why did you call me? What is it that you wish to talk about?

Settling her eyes on me,she speaks softly. Looking down at the floor .

“I…I .. am .. I am ready…”

My brows furrow. As I turn around to look at her in shock

“What?”

I ask stunned. To see her looking at me ,while biting her l*p. Her next words making my heart to thud in my chest.

“I am ready to mate with you Silas.”

I was shocked would be an understatement. Seeing her like that, standing in front of me. Staring at her feet. Confused, afraid, anxious.

Made all my anger to fade.

“If…if I am your mate…I belong with you. It’s no use fighting it….”

I see her step towards me. To only move forward her hand to hold mine. Our touch burning sparks everywhere.

“I am ready Silas. I am ready to try to love you….if…you…want…you…can mate wi-“

“Shhh”

I say placing my finger on her lips. To make her eyes to widen.

“A bond is not just about consummation Little one. You know I would never force you right?”

She nods. Making a smile to come on my lips. Placing a finger under her chin, I tilt it up to make her beautiful eyes to lock with mine.

“I know”

She says, tightening her grip on my hand that held her. To only have her move forward. Wrapping her arms around me to hug me.

Her cheek pressed on my chest , making me go still.

Fuc*! This is happening! I can’t believe it.

Recovering. I pull her closer to me. Wrapping my arms around her. Placing a tender k**s on her forehead.

I felt like the happiest man alive.

“But……I want you Silas.”

She says, literally begging with those grey eyes. And I melt. Pulling her up and making her cross her legs on my waist.

“Are you sure you are ready little one? We can stop-“

Placing her finger on my l*p. She bites her own to smile at me.

“Fuc* me Silas. Now”

She literally commands me and I couldn’t stop myself anymore. Taking her to the matress, I lay her down to hover over her.

“You asked for it , little one”

And that’s when I dip my head lower on her neck. To k**s the place I will mark her.

A m**n leaves her lips and I smirk.

Damn, this girl will be the end of me.

Unknown to him, a smirk lingered on Alexandria’s l*p as she saw him forgetting to bolt the door.

Her hand went under the mattress to feel the book safely placed there. And she couldn’t help act to m**n more , distracting him.

It was it, the book on death wolf .

She found in his room the other day.

And this is what will help her reach the mysterious forest.

“Fuc* Little one. You are perfect.”

Placing her arms around his neck, she pulls him to her. Smashing her lips on him.

Oh Silas. If only you knew.
