Death Wolf Chapter 47

“It doesn’t matter Volkan. What I feel never mattered to you.”

He didn’t like it….her not refusing to say that she didn’t love him burning the fire of jealousy inside him.

Placing his palm behind her neck, he pulls her to him. Making his breath to hit her lips.

“You don’t refute huh? So you do love him?”

Her silence aggravated his frustration. How badly he wanted to fuc* her right now, till she told him the truth.

Till she begged for his body like earlier.

Till she cried and m****d under him.

His hands moved further down to settle on her stomach and he suddenly felt disgusted of himself.

She had done it with his enemy….she had his child in her….how can he even touch her now?

She didn’t belong to him now…be pushed her away into his enemies arms.

Nearly pushing her down from his lap, he gets up.

The rustling of the chains echoes in the silent cell as her bottom takes the blow without his support.

Her arms stretching further to make a painful cry to leave her lips, but he doesn’t care.

Not even caring to look back at her

“You carry another man’s child in your womb girl. And till that bastard’s heir is in you.”

“You will always be treated as a prisoner of the werewolf kingdom.”

Sending a mindlink to one of the guards, he looks back at her. Helplessly tied to the wall, with tears falling down her eyes to land on the dark floor.

“For next 2 full moons you will remain tied and bound here as my prisoner and I will see how you bring that bast*** child to life.”

“I will like to see how you bring the beginning of the death wolf.”

She doesn’t say anything. The thought of him trying to kill their own child, making her thrash in the chains.

“You can try Volkan. But remember…one day you will regret it.”

“You will regret everything you are doing Volkan…but that day?”

“You would have lost everything.”

They continue to stare at each other, as the voice of the metal door being opened. Interrupts them.

A person enters, bowing. To only have Volkan nod at him.

The person opens a bag and fills a syringe with something, to only have Thora look at it in fear.

“It’s wolfsbane. It will weaken your wolf to slower down the summoning.”

She moves her head in no….he can’t be so heartless…he just can’t!

If her wolf weakens? The death wolf will be able to control her more…she may truly go insane then.

“No ! Volkan no ! Please! It is not going to weaken it… please don’t do this! “

He stares at her as the doctor approaches her, to nod.

Not paying heed to any of her words .

“You may proceed.”

She thrashes, to only have him turn his back on her, while clenching his fists.

“Volkan please! Please I beg!”

She begs to only have her voice die down when the person pricks her tied arms. The effect of the bane, almost instant.

“Volk…an… ple…as..e”

She says to only have her welcome darkness. Volkan stops at the threshold, to look at her one last time.

Seeing her voice die down as her body hangs down from the chains…. looking peaceful and lifeless.

“Alpha. It done.”

The person says and leaves. Making Volkan curse at himself, running his hand through his hair.

Volkan’s pov

“The news is bad Alpha.The council has engaged it’s own forces to find the prophesied one.”

Jason says, while I stare outside the window.

“Do the hunters know?”

I ask looking at him over my shoulder to see him move his head in a no.

“Daniel surprisingly didn’t let anyone in his clan know that she is the one. Including his own brother.”

The news was surprising, but still the best news for the day. The bastard may have developed feelings for Thora, to not trust the secret with anyone.

He was truly protecting her all this time.

But for what you ask?

For his own selfish reasons. He wanted to use her to become the strongest man on the earth.

He even made her pregnant with his –

Stop Volkan! Don’t forget it was you who pushed the innocent girl towards him.

Don’t forget that you wanted her to live a happy life without you in it.

For what?

To keep her safe, when the evil resided inside her only and not around her.

If only I had known earlier that she was the prophesied one herself, I would have never done it.

I could have stopped the prophesy by accepting her as my mate….I would have never rejected her for this to happen.

“Alpha still if Daniel didn’t tell anyone. Chances are high that someone will come to know of it and they will inform the council.”

“No. No one can know Jason.”

“The day council comes to know about her. They will imprison her and kill both her child and her.”

“I can’t let any harm come to her.”

Jason nods, looking in deep thought just like me.

“Thora will remain in that dungeon locked till next two full moons and not even a single soul will get to know about it.”

“That’s the only way to keep her safe.”

“But the summoning is coming Alpha. How will you stop it?”

I sigh, running my hand through my hair.

“Even if I have to keep her chained her entire life Jason. I will do it, but I would never let the summoning to be completed.”

“I will never let her approach that forest and surrender her soul to that death wolf.”

“At what cost Volkan? The girl may go insane…if she resists…her child…her child will forcefully pull her towards the death wolf…her child will kill her. “

And that’s when I speak, the only thing not written in the prophesy….the thing that will change the course of our future.

“Then the child has to die Jason.”

He stills hearing my words. As I place my palm on the table.

“I can do anything to keep her alive. Anything Jason.”

“And even if it includes killing that bastard’s child in her womb….I will do it .”
