Asher stormed out of Amery's presence with nothing but pain, regret and disappointment coursing through him. He had been so excited to come back home to Amery. He had missed her and had counted the days until he got to see her again only for him to receive the shock of his life to find out that she was in a relationship with his brother Levi.

He couldn't believe that she had lied to him. She had pushed him away only to end up dating his brother. He had always thought that they both shared some sort of connection and that whatever they felt for themselves was real but now he wasn't so sure anymore. Everything felt so complicated and heart wrenching.

"Asher!" Someone's voice boomed from behind him. He faltered in his steps and turn to see Natasha trailing closely behind him. He wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone and hadn't asked that she followed him so why was she here? He had thought that she had left after they separated at the lot so why was she following him? "Damn! You walk so fast." She chuckled and tucked her hair behind her ears.

"I'm not in the mood to speak to you or anyone Natasha so get out!" He deadpanned. His eyes hardened and laced in fury.

"You're angry and I can tell." She whispered softly.

"I thought that she...I thought that she cared about me and that she would be waiting for me but she only cared about herself and what she wanted. I must've been so stupid to have trusted her." He blamed himself continuously.

She folded her arms across her shoulders. "So is that it? You're just going to walk away and let them win? I always thought that you were better than that and that's why I had only had eyes for you all these while but I guess that I was wrong. You're nothing but a looser." She made to leave but he grabbed her forcefully by the arms and pushed her against the nearest wall.

"You don't know anything about me Natasha." He growled in a deep voice that sent shivers down her spine. "I am not your regular kind of guy and I could easily ruin you and tear you apart limb by limb if I wanted to so don't you dare try to test me." She swallowed. "I'm not trying to test you Asher." She blinked furiously. Her chest rose and fell rapidly. "I'm only trying to open your eyes to see what's in front of you. You're trying your best to avoid everything that is happening right now but haven't you thought that running away will only escalate the matter and make you look stupid to them?"

"Amery and Levi are together already." She announced. "And whether you like it or not, that's not going to change. They've been in a romantic relationship with each other for more than a month now so if you really want to get back at Amery or possibly make her yours then, you'll have to listen to me."

He scoffed, eyes pinning her down. "And what makes you think that I need your help to get back at a girl that I like? Don't be full of yourself Natasha, you're selfish and you can never help anyone." He made to leave but she stopped him.

"Amery would only get closer to Levi." She said after him. "Their bond is so strong that nothing can sever them. You like her and I can tell that she likes you too but you'll only be able to get her if you listen to me. I'm just trying to help you out Asher, that's it." She smirked when she realized that she had managed to get through to him. Men had always been like an open book to her. Just tell them what they'd like to hear and they'll follow you every step of the way, no questions asked.

Asher turned to face her. "And how exactly do you plan on helping me?" He asked. Natasha took a step closer, bridging the gap between them.

"By making her jealous." She stated. "I'm proposing that we get into a relationship with each other. If Amery has any feelings for you at all then she would try her possible best to win you back and I know that she does." "And what do you plan to gain from doing this?"

She shrugged. "Help you, that's all. I'll discuss the way forward if you agree to it." She urged. Asher gave it a quick thought. As much as he hated making deals with the enemy, what he hated more was losing the woman that he liked to his brother so if this is the only way that he would be able to get Amery back then he would take it and deal with questions later. Maybe it was high time, he stopped playing fair.

Asher stalked towards her slowly till she became one with the wall then, he pressed his hands lightly on her cheek like he was about to choke her. "We'll go forward with this Natasha but let me make one thing very clear. I don't like you and I never will." He spat. "If you so much as try to do anything other than what you have said today then be rest assured that I won't take it lightly." He applied pressure to her neck and slowly detached it as he watched her gasp for air.

The rest of the school hours went quickly than Amery had anticipated. She still couldn't believe that Asher was back and he was with Natasha now. He even walked out on her with Natasha. Were they a couple now or was it just a mere coincidence seeing them together?

If only he had only given her the chance to explain then she would have told him that it was nothing but a charade between she and Levi. She would have made him understand that there was nothing going on between them and that it was all a fake situation. She could understand his pain and she knew that he was upset because he thinks that she was in love with Levi but that was far from the truth. Maybe she was indeed in love with Levi or maybe she was not. It's all so very confusing that it's hard to decipher what her true feelings were.

Quincy was already mad at her and now she had to put up with Asher as well. She wanted them to forgive her and no matter what happened, she'll try her very best to gain their trust.

"Hey." Levi tapped her shoulders lightly and she turned her head slowly to look at him. He had been her biggest strength ever since the whole Asher and Quincy incident and she was glad that he was here, going through this with her right now. "Are you ready to leave?" His eyes took in her empty desk before gazing back at her fully. "Let's go. I'll drop you off at home."

She shook her head in disagreement. "And then what? What's going to happen after you drop me off at home? Is it going to change how they feel about me now? They hate me Levi and running away Isn't going to help either of us. I need to fix this." She whispered desperately.

"But how?" He asked, his voice raised slightly. "They don't even want to talk to you neither do they want to listen so how on earth do you plan on changing their minds?"

"I just need to talk to them." She held his hands. "Just take me to your house so that I can talk to them."

He looked at her briefly and nodded his head. "Fine. Let's go."

Levi led the way and she trailed after him until they arrived at the parking lot. There, she found Asher leaned against Natasha on his car. They were both engrossed in whatever they were talking about to even notice their presence and when they did, they simply ignored as if they weren't standing there. Amery's heart tightened in guilt, anger and jealousy. She knew that she had caused all of this but wasn't it too much?

"I think it's time to go home now." Asher announced and Levi looked on uninterested. This pending issue had only fueled their hatred towards each other more than she wanted it to.

"Do you have to?" Natasha held him by his cheeks and caressed softly. Amery was trying to hide the pain that flashed through her eyes at the very moment just by watching them. "Hmm." He hummed a reply. "But I promise we'd talk tomorrow and make plans for the school's trip together."

She squealed happily and hugged him before placing a light peck on his cheeks. Just the mere sight of that had Amery's blood boiling to a hundred degrees. Natasha detached herself from the hug and walked towards them. She gave Amery a devilish smirk before rushing off, leaving just the three of them together in the parking lot. “Come on Amery, get in." Levi ordered and slowly, she made her way towards the car.

With Levi's help, she got into the car and after they were all settled, the driver started the ignition and we pulled out of the school's premises. The ride home was quiet, tense and life threatening. She was seated in the company of two brothers who could snap at any minute and lay down their frustrations on her. The fact that she was always in the middle when it came down to situations like this made her feel worse and very angry at herself.

We arrived home and Asher stepped down as quickly as he could before making his way into the mansion. He didn't give her so much as a side glance and it hurts but she was determined to make things right again. She would fix this no matter what. "Asher?" She heard Quincy's voice as they made their way towards the living room. "Is that really you or am I seeing things now?" His wobbly voice echoed In disbelief.

"It's me Quincy." He opened up his arms and Quincy jumped into his embrace almost immediately, hugging him as though his life depended on it. But when he pulled away, he punched Asher. Amery gasped. It all happened so fast and so suddenly. "That's for running away and leaving me all by myself."

Asher ran his tongue over his bloody lips. "I deserve that and I'm sorry. I just...I just thought that I was leaving for the right reasons but I had no idea that everything about my leaving was wrong."

Discarding her bag, she walked up to the center of their brotherly bond. "I need to talk to both of you. Please."

Quincy rolled his eyes In anger. "And what exactly do you want to talk about? Do you want to talk about how you lied to me Amery or how you had s*x with Levi behind my back?"

Asher's eyes darkened in rage at Quincy's revelation and Amery braced herself for what was about to come next. "Excuse me? You had s*x with Levi?"

"Listen to me, both of you." She tried to make them see reason.

"I'm sorry you had to come back home to this brother but what can I say? Levi has been screwing Amery for the longest of time and to make matters worse, I had caught them myself after she lied to me that she didn't have anything to do with him." Quincy spat angrily. His eyes fixed on Levi as if challenging him to deny what he had just said. Amery's eyes stung with tears at the realization of what was about to happen. They all felt betrayed by her actions it just dawned on her now that it would be very hard to fix this. Levi chuckled. "You're just upset that she picked me over both of you."

"Levi!" She called out to him but he only continued. "So what if we're together and what if we've had s*x? She wasn't bound by either of you so why should she be blamed if she decided to do something that she wanted to do?" He fired at them and Amery felt the room heated up but in the wrong kind of way.

"You left simply because she didn't agree to be with you and no one questioned your decisions because you made them for yourself so why should you question her decision? she chose who she wanted so instead of acting like cubs who are angry about not having their first shift, why don't you s**k it up like mature beings that you are?"

"I dare you to say that again." Asher took a step forward but she tried to block his path so that he doesn't move further.

"Say what?" Levi lifted up his chin defiantly. "You lost her to me. She decided to have s*x with me so don't make it seem as if it's her fault."

Asher pushed Amery away angrily and threw Levi a punch on the cheeks. She crashed to the nearest couch and fell on her b**t while they fought amongst themselves.

"That's enough!" She yelled at the top of her voice but they wouldn't listen, neither did they stop hitting each other. Instead, it turned into a bloody fight. Levi pushed Asher to the nearest wall and kept on hitting him repeatedly. It was at that moment, Quincy intervened and separated them from each other. Asher stormed into his room and so did Levi.

"Levi had been right about you all along." Quincy looked at her with nothing but regret and disappointment. "I regret the day, I actually let you in as my friend Amery."

"Q-Quincy." Her voice broke and she felt another part of her die inside again for the second time. "I'm sorry."

"You're not and you know it too." He countered. "Why don't you just do us all a favor and disappear. Our lives would be a whole lot better if you did." And with that, he disappeared into the house while she broke down in tears and bawled her eyes out in guilt and regret.
