“Okay,” Rachel replied, stood up, and went to the second floor.

Dewey picked up the car keys and was ready to go downtown, when he suddenly realized something important.

“Miss Bennet hasn’t told me her sizes yet.”

“I’ll just send them to you,” Alberto said at once.

Dewey was taken aback.

Soon enough, he received a message on his phone, containing Rachel’s sizes, and even her favorite brands.

His eyes slightly widened.

When did Alberto learn these?

However, Dewey didn’t have the courage to ask, and so he just left the villa.

There were only three rooms on the second floor.

Alberto’s bedroom and study were on the right side, while Rachel’s bedroom was on the other side.

As Rachel pushed her bedroom door open, she saw the warm-toned decoration inside.

The bed had a beige color, and the heater was already turned on.

A faint orange scent also welcomed her, tickling her nose.

Her eyes lit up, and she fell in love with the room at first sight.

After she walked inside, the orange scent became even richer.

At this point, Rachel realized that she didn’t smell that wooden- toned fragrance from Alberto today.

Instead, it was replaced with a faint orange scent.

In fact, this scent didn’t only fill her room.

It was enveloping the entire villa.

It seemed that Alberto had changed the fragrance to make it more appealing.

Looking at the incense on the nightstand, Rachel was in a trance.

Why did he suddenly do this? Was it because of what she said before?

While she was still lost in her thoughts, she heard a knock on the door.

This swiftly brought her back to reality.

Rachel then looked at the door, which wasn’t fully closed.

She blinked a couple times and noticed that it was Alberto, who was at the door.

“Mr.

Gibson? What can I do for you?”

“I just came to hand over these key tasks for the project.

You can take a look at them when you are free.

The other team members are still on their way and won’t arrive until tomorrow morning, so you have all the day to yourself,” Alberto said.

“Our office is just nearby.

It’ll take about six to seven minutes on foot, and it’s also in a villa like this.”

With hints of surprise on her face, Rachel walked towards him and took over the file folders.

She didn’t expect that he would actually give all of these important documents without any reservations.

She couldn’t help but wonder if he had no fear or doubt that she would sell him out.
