Back in their house, Lila was cleaning when she heard the sound of a car getting in the yard.

As she poked her head, she saw that it was Rachel’s car.

In a hurry, Lila greeted her.

“Good day, Miss Bennet.

Isn’t it a little too early for you to be back?”

Rachel got out of the car and explained, “I’m not feeling well, so I asked them if I could go back early.”

Lila’s expression instantly changed.

“Not feeling well? Are you hurt?

I can go and accompany you to the hospital.

It’ll be better if a doctor examined you.”

“No, it’s alright.

I only need to take a nap.” Rachel felt that her head was aching and in turmoil.

She couldn’t help but hear Odin’s words echoing in her ears.

Moreover, Alberto’s burned face would flash in her mind every now and then.

Seeing this, Lila looked at her with more concern.

If my condition worsens, I’ll go to the hospital for sure.

So, please don’t worry and overthink.”

Please go ahead and take a good nap.”

Before Rachel could go to her room, Lila asked, “By the way, what would you like to have for lunch? Do you have any particular dishes in mind? I’ll go buy the ingredients and prepare them for you.”

Rachel thought for a moment but didn’t really have an appetite.

However, in order not make Lila worry, she answered casually, “I may want to have something light.”

Nodding softly, Lila recalled that she had just bought some dried scallops.

Using this, she decided to cook a nutritious dish for Rachel.

“I see.

You can eat after you wake up.”

Letting out a faint smile, Rachel turned around and went to her bedroom.

She then turned the heater on, lay on the bed, and closed her eyes.

She couldn’t see anything in the dark, but several scenes kept appearing in her mind, playing like a movie.

“So, have you decided? You’re going to transfer me to work for Alberto in exchange for his go signal to let Sullivan Group participate in the project?” Rachel was momentarily surprised, not expecting Alberto to request such a thing.

Moreover, she was confused about what his intention was.

After calming down, she asked Odin for an explanation.

In fact, she didn’t ask Odin to know what was in his mind.

Instead, she already expected to receive a negative answer from him.
