Quintin’s brows furrowed as he got more confused.

“He wore a mask?”

Rachel didn’t answer.

“Why did he wear a mask?” Suddenly, a rumor about Alberto came to

Quintin’s mind.

“Oh, right! I’ve heard about it before.

Alberto got hurt when he was young, which scarred his face.

Maybe that’s the reason why he’s wearing a mask.

The scar must be so hideous that he has to cover it up.”

Quintin shook his head and sighed.

“His brother is handsome, so

Alberto is probably good-looking, too.

What a shame that he got hurt and earned an awful scar from it! How could he be so unfortunate? He hurt his face and has poor health.

Good thing he was born into a wealthy family and is still alive.”

Rachel didn’t know about this as she hadn’t paid attention to the

Gibson family before, let alone Alberto.

Rachel suddenly remembered the scar on Alberto’s wrist.

Odin is calling.” Rachel ended the video call with Quintin and picked up Odin’s call in speaker mode.

“Alberto arrived a day early.” As expected, Odin had gotten the news and came straight to the point.

Feigning innocence, Rachel said in a slightly surprised tone, “He’s here? But the schedule says he would arrive tomorrow.

Why is he here now?”

Sitting on the couch, Odin shook the wine glass in his hand.

His expression darkened when he heard the surprise in Rachel’s tone.

“Why are you surprised?”

“Is there a reason why I shouldn’t be?” Rachel replied calmly.

“I thought perhaps you already knew,” Odin said, smiling faintly with a malicious look.

Rachel’s expression darkened, but she said in a calm tone, “Why do you say so? Do you think I tampered with Alberto’s schedule?”

Odin didn’t answer.
