You’re not capable of loving someone.”

Wallace tried to speak, but he found himself at a loss for words.

“I understand now.” She finally understood why Wallace, a man who valued his life more than anything, willingly killed someone.

“You’ve been telling such lies to yourself for the past five years, and now, you actually believe them to be true.

He claimed to love her but ultimately murdered her.
